This is useless unless you have some Adobe [?] software product installed. It's talking about software that is not from Microsoft and is not supplied with Vista.
well i do have my photoshop installed on my computer but when i go into my control panel i don't see (adobe Gama ) icon or it come's with some device ?
Thanks for sharing, this is really helpful for me...although i have a question...how do i find the contrast adjustment button on my sony vaio monitor.
To adjust contrast on your vaio. Just right click on your desktop then select nvidia control pannel, then select, adjust desktop colour settings. from there you can adjust your contrast. Hope this helps.
Hey Dude I hav Adobe Photoshop CS4 Extended on Vista but I dont hav Adobe Gamma option in my Control Panel how should I calibrate my laptop screen? I know I gotta do it cause neva done it bfore and I am actually going to do some work what needs to be print, pls help :)
Your wrong. Adobe Gamma came with adobe products, not windows. It came with Photoshop cs2 for instance, but not with cs3. I can't believe windows doesn't come with a simple calibration software atleast. What a joke.
I think you're mistaken about Adobe Gamma being installed on MS PCs. It appears to be special software that comes with high-end Adobe Products (Photoshop etc.)
i dont see the icon! help :)

buy a pantone huey or a similar product like spider. Thiswill calibrate your monitor properly. Adobe gamma is too basic.
