I think Joe Pesci is underrated because he is one of the most versatile actors ever.Ive never seen a actor play a role where he is so threatening and menacing(goodfellas,Casino)but can play a character so non-threatening(Lethal Weapon,With honors).

@TakeovaRecords definitely, i totally agree .. he's brilliant ... but then all of these actors are top notch, so believable you don't notice they're acting .. you only appreciate their craft by comparison w/ crappy actors

God, Sharon is such a diva. She gets paid something like 30k to go to clubs, just to sit in the corner and drink on the house. As good as she is, she was a real drama queen on the Casino commentary track.

Nicholas Pileggi's voice always had me envision him as some young studio hotshot who knew about everything, and researches everything. Long hair grown long 70s style, with big aviator sunglasses and all that jazz.. Now having seen this video, his face certainly conflicts with his voice.

@sarizonana Yeah but the same is true of Lorraine Bracco (Karen from Goodfellas). It's not because he didn't like her that he hasn't used her again, but probably more to do with just not having the right part for her again. With actors like DeNiro, he knows no matter what the role is, Deniro will do a great job of it.
