Products like this really piss me off. It is simply defeating the purpose of it being an iPad. Now you have something that is a cheap laptop that isn't as good as a regular laptop because you can't do as many things. If you love apple, save the money and get a macbook pro or even a macbook air. This product just looks horrible and is a complete waste of money. I use a Macbook pro and I love it.

A lot of people have MacBooks and iPads at the same time, and some have the strange idea of wanting their iPad to look similar to their MacBook. Understandable, some people just like the idea. In terms of utilities, a computer is a better choice. In terms of gaming, an iPad is better than a Mac. But if you want REAL games, you get a game console or a gaming computer. Not a Mac or an iPad.

@sceuu You can use an app to make it a regular computer? Such as splashtop where recently people have streamed live footage of Skyrim from a PC to the iPad over wifi, can do it over the internet but major lag. But my point is, run the remote desktop, get the function the same as a computer almost but being one of the best tablets. Therefore you can easily have an upgradable PC which can do all the hard work and have this iPad to recieve it. Okay it now becomes a wireless monitor but yeah.

Just a few issues I see with this case. 1st being that when folded the keyboard is exposed to what ever surface it's on. Which means your fingers will be pressing keys if turned on. 2nd Do you see the way it pops the ipad in & out the case! That will leave some scratches for sure. Overall nice looking, but not practical and definetly not worth £119! Thanks for the review.

That will leave scratches? I've taken out my iPad and re-installed many times and haven't had one mark. This case is plastic, not aluminum. It's not going to damage the iPad. The reason why it's so difficult to remove is so that it doesn't fall out when it has an impact with something. Apologies for being so harsh, but it's a bit surprising...

3 months ago I ordered a Crux Case; failed to materialize; 5 more weeks wait still; so I got the Clamcase. Sweet. Quality product; only complaint is the keyboard is a bit cramped vs the apple bluetooth. Hope I'll get used to it....

It is somewhat heavy, but not compatible with the iPad 2. I have one, tried it, and it most certainly isn't compatible. I could easily predict it wasn't compatible anyway. From what I'm feeling, the keys do seem to retain their "bounce" or "spring". At the moment, it would make more sense to just get a regular silicone case for your iPad 2. And did you watch the whole video? Because the Crux360 is crap...

I looked at a friend's one of these and I agree with the above article. Get a macbook air, or even a macbook. Why make a windows netbook out of an apple product? Also, the design looks a little cheap, why doesn't it snap shut to stop dust/debris getting into the screen & keyboard area?

A MacBook costs more. A MacBook Air is not worth wasting money on at all considering it has no disc drive. Which means there are vital applications that can't be installed. If you want any Mac Laptop, a MacBook Pro is the only good decision. Not a MacBook. It's a cheap piece of plastic. And, there is not a MacBook that snaps shut to prevent debris from falling into the screen and keyboard area.

If it's easier to remove it, that's a bad thing meaning if you happen to drop it, the iPad will probably fall out. I'd cancel the Crux360 while you still have the chance. The ClamCase I must say is very good. I've been trying it out this vacation. Now that I think of it, I'm not even looking at the keyboard or my iPad as I type. Just saying. The ClamCase will be a very wise choice.

I haven't tried the Crux360. However, the ClamCase looks better and it gets higher ratings. The problem with the Crux360 is it shows the Apple logo of the iPad... sideways. That makes it look peculiar and kind of stupid... and somewhat ugly. The ClamCase also gets higher ratings :) So I think the ClamCase would be a better selections.

The Crux360 has a square hole in the back to be able to see the Apple logo on the iPad. However it makes it look ugly with a sideways Apple logo and it opens up that logo to scratching. Plus, this case gets better reviews.
