When using a single pump in this setup there's never a chance of cross contamination due to a linear process (i.e. load, mix, dry). Use of shut off valves also helps to keep things separated and my drain valve sits at the lowest point of everything so everything gets drained.
One question though, you are using the same pump for pumping the Veggi oil, the Bio diesel while being processed and the final product. Will this not contaminate your final product?
Drying can be done at ambient temperature but will take longer. If you can heat up the oil drying times will improve. The key to this is getting as much surface area exposed to air. I'm working on an idea to create a wide continuous flat ribbon to create a large surface area around 1-2 feet wide and then blowing air across it.
Washing removes the remaining methanol and remaining lye/KOH. I have since stopped using water washing and gone to using hardwood wood shavings and sawdust to filter out the biodiesel. Works great and I don't have to use a bunch of water and I get a finish product faster. Check out my blog for more info
Nice Job! I'm looking to make a processor out of a 55 gallon drum. You are only using one drum on this video? You use the same drum for washing & drying. Is your drum flat or cone?
Are you purchasing your methanol locally? I'm trying to find a local supplier but no luck yet!

Hope that makes sense and helps.

@SaxmanKan why don't you further reduce your cost and produce it yourself?
