My whole point about this movie is that it is not your usual "popcorn" action flick that makes everyone happy, it appeals to the audiences who enjoy analyzing the imagery and meanings behind the whole film. For me personally, I felt as though it was the story of one man's slow descension to insanity, fueled by the power of greed.

I would definitely give this movie another try, it took me a 2nd viewing to fully appreciate it and analyze it as well.

This took too long with all of the accusations of "You told me to watch Be Kind, Rewind", but it covered most of it fairly well.

Next to nothing happens in this movie. You could have cut this movie down to about 30 minets. The characterizations are good but not good enough to worant the hole lote of nothing that happens in this movie. Plainview drills for oil, disowns his son and kills the crazy preast guy. That's it.

OK, this one was really funny... at the beginning. I think maybe, it went a little too long and switching the picture of Brock from the "I'm completely shocked to be having my picture taken" pose to the "Hey, I'm a really cool on the edge kinda guy" pose killed some of the comedy of the piece. The continuous references to DDL's moustache, seemed to work though. Maybe instead of movie reviews, moustache reviews? I don't know, "It didn't completely suck" though!
