This is an excellent cover. I like it because it has an old Delta Blues sound similarly to Robert Johnson or Muddy Waters, except the vocals.

Prince is pretty cool for a chick... I heard this song and immediately thought blues cover. This is a little more laid back than what I was thinkin, but this is definitely cool. Ilike that vocal melody, and the lyrics are alittle cheesy but cool. It's not like it's pink cashmere or anything... sweet ending there.. i hate that what sounds like an improv at the end "we'll call him nate".. I guess you can call him a genius, but he ain't perfect. He's no soulja boy or anything.

yup..i knew it was prince, came across that song in a compilation album back in late 80s...listening to it after such a long time, it was great. infact i was searching in the orkut for the original song. by the way, id love to hear u guys covering glam slam, wish u heaven etc....great ones as well.

Yes, great songs as well! We are covering songs just for fun. Sometimes a studio session gives the space for it. Then we are doing it spontanaous(did I spell this right?) So, maybe one day one of the others will come out. Thanx for watching and listening and thanx for your post!!

I'm glad to make you happy with our performance! The song is originally composed by Prince, who also wrote the lyrics. It's been published on the double album "Sign O The Times" in 1987.
