I LOVE the FDL website, I like the drum sounds too. The only thing I don't like are the sound of the kick drums on all the kits. Very "clicky" with no low end. It could be the mic, or too much EQ. I'm using high end monitors when I watch these.

Getting my first drum kit on Wednesday.

A CB 5piece with additional ride, stock heads, but I'm going for the Evans G2s on the toms and Evans Hydraulic snare skin (Advice from a drummer friend of 10years).Still open to suggestions :)

@TheMisha1000 The Casey Drums sound great and the builder is local, an old student of mine. I switched from Sabian to Paiste..Paiste is the best for my sound.

im left handed so naturaly im left footed, im not that good at solid double bass because my right foot is slower then my left how can i get my right foot faster so i can do some of the vary fast solid double bass patterns

I have been active at FDL for 2 years now. I must say that the lessons are great, the lesson packs are well put together and everyone is very supportive of each other. Unlike other internet companies that do similar types of things, FDL is constantly evolving to improve the quality/quantity of lessons, and they genuinely care about what people want. The forums definitely feel like a family of drummers. Jared, thank you for everything that you do to support the drumming community!

FDL is a great place for beginners, intermediate, and/or advanced players. The secret and live lessons are awesome, and did I mentioned FREE!?. All of their Systems are professionally done and are an excellent tool no matter what the skill age. At the very least, check out the live lessons on Tuesdays ( @ 4 pm pst ) and the forums. As always, great job Jared.

This site has something for every level player and the forums are awesome with tons of ideas, suggestions, and support. When I started playing I didn't have money for a teacher or even some instructional package but I found this site and it really started me off on the right track.

I started drumming with this website, the beginner section is just awesome and really got me on the right track. Now, 1 and half year later me and my band will be opening up for 30 Seconds to Mars!!...... :) ....well, actually this is not true, but this website really helpes me believe that it will be possible one day :)...hell, forget about opening up for 30 seconds to mars, I'm going to be their drummer! oh yeah this site is that good :).
