Its a very nice idea. Unfortunately, even if the Palestinians wanted to take that option, Israel will not officially incorporate land into Israel proper whilst that land has a large Palestinian population. This is because most Zionists want to keep Israel as a Jewish state (they refused to annex the west bank after the 67 war for that reason).
Most Israelis want the Palestinians gone so they can annex the West Bank, but in the mean time, they build on and exploit the resources of the West Bank (in the past these resources included cheap labour from the Palestinian enclaves but increasingly Asian labour is used). Win, Win, they get a lot of the land and keep the voting majority (quite similar to what their one time allies the apartheid regime South Africa did).

Yes, the israeli government did make some effort to dismantle some settlements (and in a few instances succeeded), but violent civil action by settlers and Zionist extremists, and lack of widespread commitment within the Israeli establishment, resulted these policies having little impact. In fact there where more settlers on the west bank in 2000 than at the start of that peace process in 1993.
You mentioned the terrorist attacks against Israelis, fair enough, but you failed to mention that hundreds of Palestinian civilians where killed by Israelis during this period and that on several occasions during that period Palestinian kids who had done nothing more than throw stones at IDF soldiers where grabbed by those soldiers, held down, and had their arms smashed by a rock, until the arm broke, sometimes in several places.
(some instances of this, where caught on film and can be seen on YouTube). As far as I am aware no IDF soldier has ever been tried for these abuses. During this period many Palestinian homes where stolen or simply bulldozed. Unfortunately, even if the Palestinians wanted to take that option, Israel will not officially incorporate land into Israel proper whilst that land has a large Palestinian population. This is because most Zionists want to keep Israel as a Jewish state (they refused to annex the west bank after the 67 war for that reason).

The original PLO Charter stated that "Palestine with it's boundaries that existed at the time of the British mandate is an integral regional unit" and sought to "prohibit... the existence and activity" of Zionism (not Judaism ) within it's borders. They retracted from that statement in the early 80's. So I don't see how your statement bears any validity regrading the PLO.

Ismail Haniyeh, Prime Minister of the Hamas government in Gaza, stated in 2008 that the group was willing to accept a Palestinian state within the 1967 borders. He also has offered Israel a long-term truce.
Hamas describes its conflict with Israel as political and neither religious nor antisemitic.

Regarding the first quote which calls for the obliteration of Israel. The person they quote there, Hassan al-Banna was assassinated in 48 long before the Hamas was founded(1987). The Hamas charter refers to him but does not contain the Quote.

Absolutely it is Israeli land. FYI..who am I? I was a left wing Israeli till the Oslo Accord. I was fighting to give Palistinians land, until Rabin did. The result was thousands of terror attacks.
There are loads like me in Israel that finally had to open our eyes to the truth, the Palis DO NOT WANT PEACE!!! The love death, blood and war and no land will change them.

Yes you will find tribalism with all of its by-products of, bigotry, exploitation, paranoia. You will also find hints that people can see beyond that immediate perspective. On a superficial level, In terms of the immediate problems, just at the moment, Israel America, and Europe would appear, on the surface of things, to have the most power to influence the course of history. In reality this amounts to a complex coalition of people and groupings of people, ALL of whom operate with varying degrees of ignorance and self interest. If people in power continue to under-appreciate this reality, then this present western culture will not last. Tribalism is a dead end.

Yes, the israeli government did make some effort to dismantle some settlements (and in a few instances succeeded), but violent civil action by settlers and Zionist extremists, and lack of widespread commitment within the Israeli establishment, resulted these policies having little impact. In fact there where more settlers on the west bank in 2000 than at the start of that peace process in 1993.

You mentioned the terrorist attacks against Israelis, fair enough, but you failed to mention that hundreds of Palestinian civilians where killed by Israelis during this period and that on several occasions during that period Palestinian kids who had done nothing more than throw stones at IDF soldiers where grabbed by those soldiers, held down, and had their arms smashed by a rock, until the arm broke, sometimes in several places.

(some instances of this, where caught on film and can be seen on YouTube). As far as I am aware no IDF soldier has ever been tried for these abuses. During this period many Palestinian homes where stolen or simply bulldozed. Palestinians where on many occasions attacked by settlers (yes there where instances of the reverse happening but on those occasions retribution by Jewish settlers, or the IDF was generally swift and harsh).

In short both sides had grievances, and neither side can be depicted as angels during this period. Your simplistic, and one sided view of this period amounts to a gross distortion of history. Since you have probably been exposed to years of bombardment by the Israeli media/propaganda machine, I do have some sympathy for your inability to see both sides. But if people on both sides dont try to see past the propaganda, what hope is there?

8/15 Palis fired into Israel at the border
10/31 Palis were planting explosive devise near the border and when approached by Israelis fired 2 anti-tank missles.

Abb since Israel continue to occupy arias of the west bank in violation of international law, and repeatedly defy calls by the UN to withdraw from these arias, I see little reason to believe claims that they would have abandoned the west bank settlements. As I mentioned earlier, there where more illegal Israeli settlers in the west bank in 2000 than in 1993 when Israel signed the Oslo accord (under the conditions of which Israel was supposed to dismantle Illegal settlements).

Lets go back just a bit further. West Bank was part of Israel by the UN. The next day the Arabs attacked and by force took W.Bank. Again in 67 Israel was forced into a defensive war with them and took back the W.Bank, however let the Arabs stay. That is the entire problem.
How do the Palistineans live in Lebanon? Please look it up. Black September was in Jordan. Look it up to

You are continuously referring to the oslo accords, yet you fail to mention as to why the Palestinians rejected them. The concessions made by the Israelis were only practically a joke. The Israelis rejected both the Clinton Parameters and the ruling of the international court of justice. No Palestinian leader could have agreed to the Israeli conditions and everybody knows that, yet you try to blame the Palestinians for that? Shame on you.

He said himself that the Israeli right wingers made a successful outcome impossible by accusing Rabin of treason. In fact they claimed that he was more interested in a noble price than Israeli interests.
