i have one and i only have 300 miles on it after a short drive i can put it in neutral and shift to first gear and then it turns off i can do this variouse times with equal results wat is the problem with my monster bike

dont hate on the Lime Green ZX-6r! its a great looking bike! i will never get another black bike again. the black fairings, black plastic, black frame, & black engine end up blending together so well to the point where its hard to distinguish the bikes components! you dont wanna hide the components of this bike! black is great for a small bike like the 250r because it "hides" the smallness of the bike, but the zx-6r bike is a beauty! regardless, check this bike out! i'm waiting for a 2010.

The last thing you want on the street is a fucking lime green bike...cops can spot you a mile away and single you out like a giraffe in a cage of chimps.Black is impossible to single out and as you said so well "distinguish the bikes components", and shape.Since ive gone from green to black the decrease in police attention is unbeleivable,i pull up to cops at lights, burnout then wheelie away and they dont even try to follow because they know even if they did catch me,theyd never prove shit

Who cares if they never compare it to the 05-06 636 Ninja? That was a cheat bike that had 37 cubic centimetres more capacity. They have compared it to the 05-06 ZX6RR however, which was 599cc.

Ok so I have been looking at this bike now.  And I actually like the Kawi Green. Why? Cause you can been seen. I just want to ask you guys that own one. How is the comfort on one of these? Like can you ride it for hours? Or is it just a zip around town kind of thing?

I have the 2007 model in green. Which is a hundred times better than black because it's visible, and makes the bike instantly recognizable as a Ninja.

Comfort on all sportbikes is a relative term. They're not tourers. But it usually takes about two..ish hours before making your backside numb, but it's not uncomfortable and I personally think it's not that bothering.

Buuut, it's the 2007 which I have, so I don't know if the newer versions have better comfort or not. That's my two cents anyhow.

technically any bike is good enough even racing... unless you are on like a highway stretch to keep up with each other... It all depends on how good the driver is... and frankly nobody is really to small for a bike unless your like an absolute short person(haha)

hey i'm 5'3, i'm 180lbs, I Own one. I had to get it lowered, and getting my seats cut. If you're 5'5 get it lowered, it'll be fine. my friends like 5'6 he can tip toe it. I feel more safe if my feet can touch the ground.

the thing about lowering is that the bike becomes a lil more twitchy and unstable as opposed to the stock ride height. i'd rather have it unstable at a stop light and one-foot it rather than it be unstable at 90-100 mph. be safe on that thing.

I just hate the under tail exhaust due to passenger and personal burns I got just reaching back to stretch or just by accident, never managed that with side mount.

Balencing is also way better.

Perhaps they talk about it like it's all new, because the engineer's need to feel important?

Just a guess... Some things do really change though... Anyone know about ZX-10R 2010?

Two Brothers have an 09 exhaust on their website (the 07 one sounds amazing so expect the same for the 09). Not many sport bikers keep stock exhausts so just ignore it and the rest of the bike is pretty cool.

you guys act like you're gonna keep the stock exhuast, come on in the sportbike world thats the most popular mod. And yeah I love my undertail on my 05, but the benifits of a lower mount side exit are far greater than the undertail if you do any sort of REAL riding, and not just trying to look pretty in the streets.

the low mount reduces weight and lowers the center of gravity, which improves handleing, so if you ride the track, the bike will perform better judging you have the skills to push the bike to its limits. Yea undertails are awesome, and like I said I love my 05 636, but you cant deny the truth when it comes to performance vs. visual likes.

So true, performance is key. But then why not just get a ZX10 ;) However they could have made the pipe look nicer. That design just doesn't suit the bike. pipe should make the pipe look more aggressive. Other than that, its a fucking awesome bike, and would definitely buy one if I could afford it. Damn I hate being a student!
