I used to live in Detroit before going here and I wouldn't classify this as brutality. It was just another dumb cop making a dumb mistake. It's not like he was beating the shit out of the kid for jay walking. the shooting was not justified but i wouldn't consider it brutality.

Since when have cops been out to protect? They harass my family and friends for ridiculous shit. My dad got jumped by three people and he went to jail. they didn't even go for one day. Cops are worthless in my eyes.

Wow.....really? Seriously this is the dumbest thing I've ever seen in my entire life. This police officer wasn't executing the warrant improperly and he didn't go in guns blazing. Yes, he made a mistake and he is going suffer consequences and he's cooperating great because he cares and this wasn't any kind of police brutality at all. He is not on a paid "vacation," he's recieving support for havnig discharged his weapon just as every other officer does.

@srahbird I remember when I walked past this, half of the passersby were either joining in or disagreeing. We still don't actually know what happened, but I thought it was funny that people were acting like the police had no business being there. He was in trouble for drug possession, for crying out loud.
