is it possible to sustain a note while changing from downbow to upbow?

@Fr3derick Yes of course. How much you hear the "connection" between the two bows depends on many factors such as the speed of the bow and the pressure needed to create the volume, as well as the skill of the player! (which can overcome all those technical obstacles)
