I used to have the Egypt lego set, I regret getting rid of it with many other things, thanks for uploading these. Some people may find it strange that we enjoy watching old commercials, but it brings great memories back......of a great time that seems distant that we still long for.....

Oh, my gosh! A story for you all..

In fifth grade (2002) I was playing on the playground outside school, and in a bush, I found a little toy. There were no marking on it or anything, and I never knew what it was.

TODAY I see this commercial video on YouTube, and I see it on that McDonalds ad! Wow! So it was a Transformer/Beast Wars thing. Hahaha, I bet I've still got it around here somewhere. :p

How did you get these? Back in 1998 did you just sit around and tape commercials knowing that one day soon we would wish to see them? I wonder if Nickelodeon knew in 1998 the direction their channel would take?

No my mom recorded all Rugrats and other Nick shows for me when i was a kid and kept in all the commercials.

OH! I had a feeling you did not just sit around all day recording this stuff. However, I do enjoy seeing this stuff from all those years ago. I am glade that your mom recorded them. How did you get them off of your VHS tapes and onto the PC? They are not exactly in a media format that will easily transfer to PC.

I use a capture device and an editing studio, I connect an A/V Cable to my capture device from my VCR and capture the video.

OMG thanks for posting these! I used to love watching Nickeloden back in the day and I loved the commercials cuz they would always play all the commercials for the latest toys and stuff and it was so cool to see what was out.

The animated Ronald McDonald in that commercial was done by Klasky-Csupo (the creators of Rugrats). I know that cause they made a whole series of McDonaldLand videos for them.
