@dcsince96 Use the "Blackberry DeskTop Manager" software that came with the phone to remove any application you don't want.

(((((((BUT FIRST USE THE BACKUP AND RESTORE PART OF DESKTOP MANAGER ))))) in the event you make a mistake and remove something you didn't mean to.

OMG thank you so much! I also had a small issue with the white bit not fitting the rollerball but I followed what you said and made sure the metal bits on the sites were tighter and it simply locked in. Also I had another small issue of the rollerball not being able to be pushed down to make sellections when the phone was on. I opened it up again and repositioned the rollerball above the keybad and turned the phone on and it worked! You saved me $60 (repair store charge). THANK YOU!!!

Jjust to help others that may have damaged the 3 prongs on the ring that holds the track ball in (i called it a bezel below). Mine were still in place, just cracked so they would not hold. I put a drop of hot glue between each prong pair then wiped off excess while still hot, then installed. Let it cool.Holds it there until your next free berry comes when your plan expires! If this doesnt last, I will just hot glue each prong and install. If you actually have to replace all, it'll come out.

@martiniskill1 I welcome any input to help out anyperson seeking help for the trackball, I'm sorry your ring (bezel) prongs broke. And yes, you have to be very delicate when working with these parts.

Thanks! This is a good follow up to the first vid as I found it difficult to get the plastic cage back over the trackball and fit it into the appropriate holes. Very delicate work. Great idea with using both the vid and the close-up stills. But in the end i broke 2 of the 3 three bezel clips! Suggestion to others: Put a dot with a marker on the bottom of the bezel(middle clip) and a dot on the berry at the centre of the hole and line up and be gentle. May be from removal tho as wifes worked ok

Are you saying that the plastic bottom part will not snap back on, or did the spoon part fall out?

Never had to mess with the spoon, but you can try to see if you can put it back on. I dont see why it would not go back on.  if not you will have to get another trackball assembly

Make sure that ball is sitting deep inside that carrier! pause the vid to make sure you are doing it right. And Take your time and don't get fustrated. make sure metal retainers are not bent out to far
