  • thank you Sospire for posting very interesting piece on China's development!

  • what's the point of coming to this architectural/knowledge clip if you only interested in history and politics!!? stop bringing historical and political issues everywhere, focus on the video it's about a new port!!

  • :)

  • Shanghainese has the biggest crane manufacturer in the world, so owns one of the biggest port in the world will not be a problem. Zhenghua exports best quality cranes to all of the world, the cranes and lifts are widely used by even ECT in Rotterdam, port of Hamburg, Port of Anternwerp, also in Port of Los Angeles, Port of Newark, ect.

  • Thanks , I have always thought that the murky water in Shanghai was because of sewage

  • China is gonna own the world, ha. owning 8 trillion us dollar debts already.

  • no offense but china is never going to be superior. the usa government has the world on a silver plate. but im glad to see that the world is expanding and coming together like it should though some dont realize it.

  • @EndofDays213 China is one of the oldest countrys in the world and the only culture/country that has never died. aloto f american history channels will say empires all fall and die and books will to but china never has.

  • @EndofDays213 china WIll surpass the united states soon in economy by far and the only power that threatens china is the USA. wich owes china lots. and the USA cannot beat china in a war unless our country the USA uses atomic bombs

  • @EndofDays213 The greatest strategists came from china over thousand of years and no country can beat china in a land battle. without nukes. I am not chinese btw. I am from the united states and Italian/german mostly

  • what's 32 kilometers in cat years?

    why is the ocean brown?

the problem with really big projects is when they go wrong, it's never small...

  • @oidad 32 kilometers is a distance, not an age. Lol.

  • i dont care

  • surprisingly they didn't use railroad transport

  • BUT WHATS CHINA?

  • @YoshiTheBlue

Aye, what is it indeed? The oldest continuous civilization in the world? The fastest growing economy in the world? It depends on who you ask, so what do you think?

  • Why didn't they show the Grand Canal?! Back when Europeans were living in caves, feeding on grass, China built the largest man-made canal ever. It connects North and South of China. Still in existence till this day and viewable from space.

  • @darkiz7 Nahhh. we ain't going anywhere so fuck you

  • Three Gorges Dam is harmful to Hubei Province and it is causing environmental catastrophes.

Yangshan Port will lose to its rival just south of it, Ningbo Port. Yangshan is -15 meters deep. But Ningbo is -22.5 meters deep.

Yangshan has Donghai bridge, second longest in China. But Ningbo has the longest bridge, Hangzhou Bay bridge. These two bridges are proof of their competition.

  • @YalasoCN hehe, talking nonsense is too easy for someone like you

  • its ironic the chinese make big things but have small dicks..jajajaja thumps up if u agree

  • @SP4L9 Small dicks and bigger brain size mean East Asian is a more evolved race.

  • @SP4L9 ur not funny

  • @SP4L9 hahaha how fucking ironic, u do realize the smallest dicks in the world are from spanish people.

  • CONTINUE............

Thats because after 1975, the country fall into Communist hand. The Lao communist executed their own King. The very last Royal King that they have. He cursed for the communist government to not have a better life. And so they did. The country is so corrupt right now. The lao communist also executed educated people, intellentual, professor, scientist, and engineer people. Thats why the country of Laos right now are not any bit close to the rich country out there.

  • China is a Communist country but with good economic and infrastructure. Better than any other communist country. Just look at Vietnam and Laos. They're bullshit. So behind on infrastructure and economic. If Laos never fall into communist control. The Royal King would of open its door to foriegn investor to turn the country of Laos into a better country comparing to right now.

  • the best communist in the word.

u are jealouse bcz china communist is so rich and powerful.

us will need more dollars from china to buy hotdogs

  • @Sisomvox China is rich, but Chinese people is not rich

  • @qq328887795 This is not a concern cuz Chinese people will be rich.

  • chinas no1 priority is to tacle pollution by making better traport system or greener cars, not to make this shit

  • @akumie china is building a massive railroad system, also BYD is producing electronic cars in china. solar engery, wind engery and "The Green Wall of China"

all these projects will help china reduce pollution.

  • right..... all china does is open 1 new coal plant every week, that really helsp pollution

  • cool!

  • I have been sailing on a container carrier to Yangshan and to Shanghai. Iis even more impressive in real life. Those pilot don't talk bullshit. I is really a hard job, no jokes. By the way, is there a following part 2 of this very interesting documentary?

  • Damn, look at your eyes - very dirty!

  • you know what, shanghai's built on an alluvial plain, and the plain continues to grow up to this day, which means soil (from the Yangtze River) constantly goes into the sea, mixes with sea water, and then forms new land. That's why the water looks so murky--- it's because of soil and mud, not pollution!

  • Thank you for giving the ignorant one an educated answer.

  • @georgelei1573

mud and soil drainage from the upper stretch of the Yangtze river regions is indeed some of pollution due of the lack of plantations.luckily we are working on it.

  • @georgelei1573 It's China dude. It is polluted as hell. Think about it. Beijing was smog filled nonstop which is sickening.

  • they are now a part of the motherland China, Taiwan progressing into the reunification with China and that has been recently agreed. Taiwan is settled

  • what the hell does a megaproject have to do with taiwan?

  • stfu... are you saying people of Taiwan are not Chinese? learn the history ya ignorant fool..

  • @dlobrown8888 someone told me earlier today that alot of chinese people will rather live homeless running from the government than live there because they will come in and take a child if you have to many and leave them to starve to death! lol and you said and i quote "motherland china" all i got to say is lol. "lol" you can quote me on that

  • @atticus0102sc

Obviously, everyone knows that hearsay is a credible source of information. You see, it is called fines. It is used all over the world, including China.

  • @dlobrown8888 I don't think so. Where is your documentation to support this?

  • @dlobrown8888 um, what? taiwan is COMPLETELY independent, but just likes to think they own china, and vice versa

  • it will slow down a bit, but wont't be as bad as ya expected! anyway we'll see!

  • I doubt that Export growth is going to collapse in China. China has 1/5th of the world population. They will be competitive for years to come. The port be need to ship product overseas and to supply China's needs for its population.

  • Then explain me why China is going to experience 9% growth in the 4th quarter? I'll solve it for ya, the reasons are:

    - The government's stimulus package ($585 billion)

    - Emphasizement in public services

    - Increasing domestic consumption

And alot of economists (Chinese and others) have given solid proof that the Chinese economy will rebound with 8% in 2010 and surpassing that of Japan.
