well no, i literally learned F2L yesterday from lancetheblueknight's vid, but i now use F2L, and then the beginners method for the rest. I hope to get faster now im using this more advanced method, but i still average about the same :)

that happened to me too. a couple of months ago. If you really get used to F2L then start using 2look OLL and 2-look PLL You can start noticing the difference in times. Before I started OLL and PLL, Iearnt the first 12 algorithms for F2L... The other cases I solve intuitively.

I still noticed (a couple of days into F2L) That my times were over a minute! I used to average 55.... Then after a month of using F2L constantly, I learnt OLL and PLL. In 2 days my solves were from 50-1.05 to 30-45 :)
