To all you saying you could buy midi controllers and a laptop etc for the same price as one, yes you can. Explain to me why though, if a midi controller and laptop are better, every club has these as the standard set-up? It looks more professional, and the audio cards are a lot better. I recently switched from serato to these (obv the black ones) and enjoy it much more. There is no point to midi unless you are using it with abelton and drum pads etc.

they should put midi pads and faders instead of platter, nobody wants to scratch. CD scratch will never beat real vynil so it's useless feature. Pads and knobs would fit it perfectly. or maybe touchscreen!
