So you see, God loves His children and He wanted them to live in peace and happiness. But thanks to the serpent, that could not happen. But God freed His people from slavery cause He felt sorry for them and brought them back to Him. They were foolish, but God never denied them, just broke His heart to see His children going in that direction.
