  • loved the exit ''What the hell''

  • "Why are you doing this" is teh awesome man

  • The cave background at 2:19 was absolutely beautiful, a view of a starry night sky seen from inside a cave flowing with vibrant lava.

I'd love to see that in real life.

  • Starting at 8:12, Raocow is making some pretty nice rhymes. Whether it's intentional or not, GenericCAW should definitely make a song out of that.

Also, did anyone else see the amount of lives he has at 8:38? 451 fahrenheit is the temperature at which books burn and I feel this really fits in well with the theme of the level. Just throwing that out there.

  • @Xassary You called it, though it seems that it started from 08:00...

It sounds strange to me when it's not Auto-Tuned.

  • explosions are explosions

or if you wanna be "technical"

    explosions is a word

  • you swear too much

  • Yoshi's Island takes place before SMW obviously

Maybe the little baseball thrower guys and such are young Charlies?

  • man, raocow you wouyld be intense at rapping.

  • 1:11 For a moment, you reminded me of Arakune from BlazBlue. XD

  • explosions don't necessarily have anything to do with fire, it's just a pressure wave. more an air element than anything else. though they do often come with fire since destroying a lot of things so fast tends to do that

  • um, a good example would be an air canister blowing up. it's still technically an explosion, a sudden release of pressure, but there's no fire.

  • exsplosions are technically moving fire

  • Explosion=Fire+Earth

(Or at least that's what Grandia taught me)

  • 100% agree with you on the subject of coffee!

  • Fire is pretty just like explosions, so therefore explosions are fire =D I win?

  • Can't argue with that logic.

  • YUSH!!! NOW U CAN BEAT THE GIGANTIC TAP-TAP AND ALL HER LITTLE BABIES!!!! next time....

  • I was just listening "Fight Fire With Fire" by Metallica while waiting the video to load, and then raocow go and said "...you have to fight fire with fire after all"

    and I was like...O_o

  • @ryanpet266 why so mean? you don't have to believe me if you don't want to

    and it's not that important...

  • Lol I personally drink a iced Capp from timmys and they are delicious otherwise than that I don't drink coffee

  • yeah, I don't like coffee myself, however, once in a blue moon I do enjoy myself a nice cappuccino.

  • coffee tastes too watery for me, even "strong" coffee, and especially "YOUD LIKE THIS COFFEE ITS REALLY REALLY STRONG" coffee

  • Coffee is disgusting, I agree.

    *hi-five*

  • Explosions are indeed fire. It is just is very blasty and movey fire. Plus, the term "firepower" should be a dead giveaway.

  • "Protecting himself from 'fire places' all over the world"... what the hell?

haha, so self aware. You're a pretty smart dude, Raocow!

  • This is a very well made game.MUST PLAY!!!!!!!!!!

  • Typically, explosions are caused by ignotion and combustion of various fuels, but there are other kinds of explosions as well (such as an aerosol can expolding under pressure) so no, explosions =/= fire. Not always at least. Sometimes :P

  • "Ah! Where's my thing..?"

    xD

  • Uh, 2:21.

How can the cactus guy live in the lava, especially considering raocow demonstrates a couple times he is vulnerable to fire? :D

  • @spartonberry another species of lava lotis :D?

  • Comment removed

  • Playing Borderlands was weird because Explosions and Fire were different effects.

  • "Hey there guy, hows it going" - Classic

  • Explosions have fire in them, so yes.

    Be free of coffee's chains!

  • Look at it from a chemistry perspective:

Combustion(burning/fire) is the result of a exothermic chemical reaction between fuel and an oxidant. Heat and a new chemical is produced.

Explosions on the other hand, require four characteristics: (1) Formation of gases

    (2) Evolution of hotness

    (3) Rapidity of reaction

    (4) Initiation of reaction

So, the answer would be no. Most explosions will have fire, but the reverse is not necessarily the case.

    Have fun.

  • Interestingly enough, my professor told us about this reaction that creates 4 mols of hydrogen gas per mole of reactants, and has a very high rate constant. She said if you do the reaction on the mL scale you have a couple of seconds to get clear before it explodes and destroys your fumehood.

  • Chemically speaking, explosions are simply just increase in pressure inside a container which builds up and eventually forces itself out. Heat helps this by increasing the pressure. Fire (or combustion) generally takes some hydrocarbon, oxygen and heat to make carbon dioxide and water. So the difference in the amount of gas molecules formed is dependent on the size of the hydrocarbon and could be considered an explosion if enough gas evolves.

  • An explosion is the opposite of a crash, too objects splitting apart very violently. if you play a car crash backwards, it is by definition, an explosion. Fire just results from explosions because of the very quick motion of moving apart creates friction, which creates heat, which creates fire on flammable objects. So they aren't fire but fire results from them sometimes. Good vids today :D

  • and coffee is gay

  • Is it just me or are empty corridors with randomly placed enemies a large part of this hack's level design? It constantly feels like the author has been running out of inspiration.

  • Hurray, a fellow non-coffee drinker in my favorite LPer!

Debate: Arimaki has the right of it. Explosions are not fire, although one often leads to another.

  • coffee is an addiction, and you, are a lucky bastard

  • 6:31 - 6:34 HAHA !! ce yoshi à manger trop de piment fort. En plus on chie en FEUUX !!!

  • Well, both require oxygen, explosions are just really fast aren't they?

  • Comment removed

  • all explosions are fire but all fire is not an explosion right?

  • Next up: Tap tap tap the tap tap

  • raocow,

Why do you never jump through the goal hoop in a running start? you always go past it a bit

It's not really a problem but I have OCD and that kind of puzzles me.

  • He seems to be doing it on purpose, I don't know, perhaps it's a bit of OCD he has?

  • i think he is checking if anything is behind it, or just reflex and he wants to be different.

  • He does it so he can get to the bonus stages.

  • He lives the raocow way of life, and the raocow way of life requires you to go through the goal twice.

  • Brilliant videos today raocow!!!

  • Manditory lava level complete!

  • raocow, its now very nice advertising your hack at the end of video >:(...even tho its good hack...

  • hello person,

    if

    1) you tried to be funny, it didn't work at all

    2) you didn't know that 'what the hell' is just a normal expression for confusion like 'what the fuck' that substitutes 'fuck' for 'hell', you should google 'what the hell' and look at the results

    3) you didn't know, you got it all wrong, so i'm here to tell you that. hi!

  • Raocow says what the hell alot mostly due to his own commentary, it doesn't mean he is plugging his hack, although sometimes it really seems like he is.

  • gee man! do you know what "joking" means?

  • I wasn't having a go at you, if any thing I agreed with your point.

  • Raocow is most DEFINITELY my favorite PSA person.

Also, I just realized my previous comment has probably pegged me as the moderator for this debate.

    Crap.

  • Fire and explosions aren't the same thing at all! That's like saying that waterballoons are wet clothes! Or that a guy with a cold is another guy with a cold! Or that porn is stained sheets!

    Wait, disregard that one.

  • 7:04 was PRETTY CLOSE!

    9:46 was PRETTY FUNNY

    And a hundred!

  • @bowserian ummm.... fire is caused by explosions not the other way around

  • AT: Both of you:

Hmm... Well, technically, explosions are merely "concussive force", but depending on the origin and nature, it can both cause AND be caused by fire, OR neither-- Certain explosions are purely force, like pressure build-up in contained areas.

    So I vote "Possibly."

  • Explosions are caused by fire, they are not the same thing.
