Somebody surely saw the AVGN review before making their own. I can understand that but why make the same exact game references as James? There's just so damn many copycats in these parts these days. James is to video game reviews full of cussing to what Star Wars was to future science fiction movies.

I've always loved the Nightmare on Elm street game. The navigation is much easier than you thing. the first three levels are always random, but they're always in the first 3 houses. Level 4 is the junk yard, it's the furthest to the right. Next is the grave yard, which is the next left level from the junk yard. Then you proceed to the haunted house which is next to the grave yard. Finally, you go to the high school and beat the game.

You actually don't need to walk all the way to the cabin Jason is attacking. You can just enter any small cabin and then switch to the one you need to get to. The one exception of course in the cabin on the lake with the kids.

This is the problem, people say games are shitty because they're just really hard. It's like Wayne's World on the NES. In my review I explain how if you know where all the enemies are and the techniques to killing them. Even the final boss is easy and I can get through the game with losing a maximum of 1-3/5 lives. I honestly once played through the game without losing any lives.

I actually kind of like those games. Nightmare on Elm St. has the most ridiculous enemies, though, and the houses on the inside do not look like normal houses. I can understand why people hate Friday, but I still it captures the feel of being in a horror movie, with the woods and the fact that Jason comes out of nowhere, that and the enemies I think are more appropriate. They have zombies in Friday the 13th(Jason is the only zombie, though...sadly)

Friday the 13th for the NES doesn't suck its just insanely hard. Nightmare on Elm street..... Ok that one sucks. Friday the 13th is just a thumb breaking nightmare. And there are little tricks to the game to help you beat it. I know a few. There is a reason behind their speed differences. Try useing them all and its not just Mark and Crissy who are the better characters I've almost beaten the game with Debbie. I'm starting to wounder if you've even played the game?
