people, you gotta be kidding me. this is a mans game. don't whine about the refs when someone touches you. and come on who ever makes a charging call for taking too many steps? thats weak. pick your head up and this never happens kiddo
It took me a few replays to see where this hit came from. Charging for sure. I've had more injuries from undisciplined "emotional" hits than anything else. Collarbone is a bitch.
man, a lot better than breaking both your ankles sliding into the boards, ruined my chances at playing D1, you will get back, just don't give up and don't rush.
@liketada1 I hate it when refs don't do their job. Playing Midget double A and 2 of my teammates not including me. Got charged, elbowed, hit from behind, delayed hit, the list goes on, and the refs didn't call one penalty. Something you gotta deal with because you won't change the ref's mind, but it just really pisses me off.
@BendersBreakinAnkles I know it's hockey you idiot. I play midget double A I'm not afraid to get hit either, if people aren't checking properly it can cause serious injuries that is why they have the ref's out their in the first place so the games don't get out of hand. You just made yourself sound stupid.
@theorangeiscool1 I play major midget AAA... and I am making my self sound stupid? I am not arguing that it does not cause serious injury, but if you are afraid of "serious injury" that happens once in a blue moon why bother hitting at all?
@BendersBreakinAnkles I doubt you play midget AAA for one, but yeah if I am playing a team that I know doesn't give a shit about what they do then yeah I want ref's that aren't stupid and know how to do their job's right. If there weren't ref's out there to keep the game in hand a serious injury wouldn't have "once in a blue moon" it would happen all the time.
@liketada1 hey, I'm just coming back from braking my collar bone, hit looks almost identical to what happened to me, first time I could play was today
@HabsPens2931 I am a ref and the rule if a player gets hurt, and it being an elbow, since the elbow is a minor, that would than make it an ejection since the player got hurt.
@liketada1 I know Im barging into the conversation, but the best way to avoid injury on a play like this is to be very low when covering the puck dont ever go face firt into the boards while standing tall. Dont get me wrong I have had many injuries from hockey and I have played AAA and NCAA puck, Next time you are pursueing a dumped puck go in slow while rapidly looking over both shoulders if you see no one comming play the puck aggressively, if you see one comming control the puck on the bord
vorexodus... wow, really? Let me tell you a few things about hockey you obviously don't know about. One is class. The other is respect. Without those, well... look at your page. And since you're calling people that actually play hockey names, that also makes you a coward. Come out to Cali and do some laps with the Falcons, we'll show you what happens to people like you.
@STiFF444 define charge? just because he fell and got injured... if it had been a small player hitting a big one and the player who got hit didnt fall, I am positive that call would have been made.
@STiFF444 so because he skated too much? every hit in any game the player skates into the hit.. charge is defined as the increase in speed with intent to violently check opponent, the player skated at a constant speed and hit check was with his shoulder 100% clean.
weak
