Okay first of all the starting offense should have left the game when it was 35 - 0, then assuming that the 2nd string was in on both sides of the ball and it still became 50 - 0 then 2 things should happen either
1.) You just run the ball, wait until the last second and then run the ball!
2.) Put in the 3 string team, let them get some experience vs a 1st string team!

practice is the time to push them and let them know what they need to do,
the last thing you want is to embarass them during a game when they're already emotional,

If the score was 50 to 0 in the 2nd Quarter with 3 min left on the clock and dallas just punted the ball.......
Okay first of all the starting offense should have left the game when it was 35 - 0, then assuming that the 2nd string was in on both sides of the ball and it still became 50 - 0 then 2 things should happen either
1.) You just run the ball, wait until the last second and then run the ball!
2.) Put in the 3 string team, let them get some experience vs a 1st string team!

I agree with everything you just said, really there is no rule and nobody HAS to do anything, and the Starting Defence should always stay on the field and eat their shame, unless that game doesn't matter and your already heading to the playoffs then you sit them! yes i agree with the switching of the 2nd and 3rd string but with this being a playoff game and im sure all coaches and myself have seen some of the strangest come backs i doubt they would. The only point im trying to get people to see that there is no rule on how a team should play if a coach wants to run up a score to get a kick out of it because the other team cant stop them then thats his choice in hope's that momentum carries over to the next game.
