Okay, I've got a question. The download is with the official downloads right? I downloaded it from there and when I clicked the icon, it comes up with an error saying something about the GL driver probably refused to create the texture. Is it suppose to do that until the game is completely and officialy ready to go?

@magictoastercar you need to download the Open GL Enginge. Use google to find that, its not a part of the game and needs to be extra installed.
