Dear Honda.I own the 2008 model.I have 2 more years till I pay it off.I ride it at Deals Gap/Tail of the Dragon.I'm not a full blown pro roadracer all though I'm very very fast.Traction Control was the only thing that would have made me trade in my bike.Sorry I will stick with the 08.It's the best bike I have ever owned.Try again next year.
Does anyone know if the black one doesn't come with the Electronic Steering Damper? The Honda website looks to be only having it on the new white and red models.
@Bdr2sv01 They all have it. If you go to the Honda Powersports web site and look at the colors/360 page, click on the black circle then scroll over where the front of the tank and the clip-on is and you can see the linkage under the plastic fuel cover.
From a styling perspective, I think it's a step backwards from the '08. The older model did have cheesy intakes, though. The new fairing shows off the oil filter and coolant pipes in its attempt to look edgy and aggresive--yuck.
Otherwise, the bike has always been a performer, and I sincerely hope Honda has fixed the piston-rings, crankshaft, etc...
Too bad they didn't fit it with traction control and other goodies---it will finish at best 3rd in the shoot-outs, I'm guessing...
I hated the look of the CBR since they changed the body style from that Rocket Beastly Blade look, but man these few minor changes have really made this bike look extra sexy! I love the rear, and the minor changes to the front. It doesn't have too much of that flat face anymore!! I wish Honda would have up'd the power to 170hp, but i'm sure it will still be a Monster on the track! Nice job Honda....From this Kawasaki fan... !!!! AWESOME bike!!
