How did the fat controller know about the lighthouse incident before Fergus and Salty made it back?

You know what's cool? I went to Hecta Headlight house in October and there was lots of rain and even though the lighthouse was closed a worker allowed an unscheduled tour and I learned about how they used to use counter-weights to turn the light.

Somebody would have to raise the weights each time and now we depend on automation.

Salty & Fergus are a great team, boy I miss Fergus so badly he only appeared in 3 episodes!
