you can light up whole areas with IR light using an IR filter attached to a powerful flashlight. it will dramatically increase your field of view when looking through the camcorder in low light mode.

Shooting rats in farm buildings in pitch darkness is great fun. I have an FAC Ripley with NV but its nowhere near as accurate as your rifle. You have inspired me to try it with a cam as i have one with nightshot on it.

@1234bowtech Umm, not sure how much you need to store but I have a friend who puts her feed in an old flat type freezer which stops them getting to the corn or any metal container, failing that try big powerful snap traps with something nicer than what they are eating or get a cat! hope thats some help ;-)

You use sony vegas?

Well for the slow-mo clips, after dragging them out, if you right click the audio track of the clip and go to properties, in the "Audio Event" tab, you should see "Pitch Change" at the bottom, and tick the box where it says "Lock to stretch"

This should make your audio sound much clearer when you slow it down

You are very lucky you have a working scope. I have a Ruger Airhawk, the scope is absolutely terrible. I along with several other Airhawk owners have had trouble with our scopes.
