I think this one gets a lot of undeserved flak, mostly because the stock footage (a poor decision, yes, but is it really a deal breaker?) and the cast of children. This was intended to be a children's film and on that level, it succeeds. And beyond that, the central theme, dealing with the collapse of the traditional family ways, is still relevant today.

Everyone's entitled to his own opinion of course, but I think this is no worse than GvsSpaceG or some of the later 70s films.

@thedude23isroblox "Godzilla's Revenge" was the title the American distributor came up with to make the film more marketable. The studio Toho's intended title outside Japan is All Monsters Attack.

Yeah, they are great aren't they? So much better than the worst Ultraman ep. Those two movies suck! Godzilla looks like a muppet! Mechagodzilla looks cool, but everything else blows! At least, in Godzilla's Revenge, we still get to see Godzilla looking good.

Godzilla Vs. Hedorah was so dark and so ridiculous and the target of that one was mainly children who loved the Gamera films. At least, Ishiro Honda and Shinichi Sekizawa tried to make something good for the younger fans with the lack of budget.

It's funny, both this and Godzilla Vs. Megalon were low budget productions with lots of recycled footage made largely with children as the primary targets in mind.
