Doug, please, legislate to allow companies to offer healthcare insurance as an alternative to pre-paid healthcare. No one would choose to use insurance with a high deductible ($25,000, $50,000, +) so the cost of this financial product (i.e. claims settled in dollars not care) will remain inexpensive. This concept competes well with the current system where each insured thinks he has paid for more care than it costs in premiums and is entitled to use this healthcare.
