  • Hi again, Awesome video! Thank you for sharing your knowladge! I have a question. When i bought my Subi (Same as your 95 Lagai smelled burning oi. The guy said they all have a drip that hits the exhaust mani. Do you know of this and if-so how do i fix it?

    Thanks again brother!

  • @ShoeManShoe68 They don't ALL do that, but it's fairly common. Could be a number of things, but the biggest possible culprit is the valve cover gaskets. Search my videos - I have a full DIY video for those gaskets.

  • THANK YOU! I just had a shop quote me 1.8 hours to change this! You just saved me 164 dollars.

  • Thanks a million --> incredibly useful video! Very clear, and the step-by-step text instructions on the screen were helpful as well.

  • @BrianDanin You're welcome. I was hoping that posting the vital info on screen stuff would help.

  • This happened to me today. Actually yesterday about midnight while driving back home. I knew it was the alternator, but what parts store is open at midnight? Drove the car with the dead alternator to work next morning, did not have any other options. The light did not go off in the morning so i figured it was completely dead. Half way thru my comute dash lights started dimming, gauges dropping erratically. Got the replacement, will change it at work tomorrow, couldn't drive it back. Thank you!

  • @zaezz Best of luck. I changed my last one in the Advance Auto parking lot. Easy enough to do if the bolts aren't seized and you have the tools on you. Make sure you have jumper cables or can at least pop start the car. Hope it works out OK for you.

  • @MercedesDieselGuy I changed mine at work, had to get the tools from home, and thank god i had the cables with me, cause battery was dead) it all worked out fine in the end. Got it running in half hour. Thanks for this video!

  • @zaezz You're very welcome.
