I really think there was some magic between Faye and Cocteau Twins - a kind of deep mutual admiration, which brought about some unbelievably beautiful songs... the track 'Amusement Park' on the album 'Faye Wong' is a great example of how well they worked together on new material, let alone the Cocteau Twins covers. I think really dyed-in-the-wool fans like myself really treasure this collaboration - showcasing the universal nature of Cocteau Twins' music.
