it's a pretty good bet the vocoder element is a sample, but hey - its electronic music people, there is lots of sequencing, sample use and overlay going on here!

He is indeed miming the robovoice... Watch carefully around 2:40, he looks as though he is about to say something and looked too early into the camera to say it.

i dont understand what the big deal is with miming or live? he came up with these sounds and idea and production, surely if he does them live or not its not important... enjoy the music and stop being pedantic lol
