Petting & scatching the rooster is great BUT don't pull on it! And for those of you dumb enough not to protect or value your eyes...a chicken can put them out for you in a heart beat. They do get a might swift temper change...Protect your eyes. The Roo did look somewhat ill by the way. Not a funny Rooster vid at all. Made me sorta sad.
all avian species molt(shed) their feathers----when they are growing back in---the new(pin) feathers are quite itchy/aggrevating----the petting/scratching was a relief.

This was just fine, until you started pulling on the poor guy. It didn't look to me that he was feeling very well. Shame on you.

If that is a healthy chicken,it would bit your finger when you are going to touch its feather.Cuz the chickens really dont like to be touch.

this is so rare. Roosters usually can be barely touched.
r0t69 2 years ago
@r0t69 really? my rooster is perfectly fine with me touching him. however, he does not tolerate anybody else getting near him.

Possible evidence to be used in court for your animal cruelty trial. Nah I joke, although that pulling bit is a bit extreme.
