the gas valve on these ltz, all the way up is prime, were is on and off? just bought mine 03 ltz 400 white with black seat, also lever next to youre high and low switch is what, cant figure out what it does, nice z 400 you got mine is alot more beat up, these z's do shit and get, i went from a 07 brute force to this beat ltz 400 and actually am happy with this z! amazing power this 400 has!

@terrymilby Haha what model brute was it? Those are nice machines. And as for the valve switch, i honestly never knew. But for me i've never had a problem while having it on all he time. And depending on what switch your talking about next to the high and low, one could be the choke. When it is up, its off, and down is on. Or it could be the parking brake.

@GoProAllTerrain 750 v-twin auto, red it had tons of power and could wheelie for days, but to much in the trail, and heavy! when it got stuck it was stuck even with the diff lock up front, the lever i was asking about is the choke it makes sense that you said it, so toward the front tires is on and towards the seat is off? now the pecock do you leave all the way down towards the ground or towards the radiator, or pointing towards the carb? these are badass machines and I'm proud to own 1!

just noticed when you turned on your quad the light on the right turned on mine does that also but that means temp or what ? beacus eim not sure to be worried or not

@mxzx4321 I dont think you should be worried. As long as it doesn't go on while your actually riding you should be fine. It happened once to me. My fuse got blown from water so my fan didnt work. The coolant was boiling and overheating, that was when it turned on. But otherwise, should be fine.

@mxzx4321 where you're red light came on that is not my temp light, instead its my lights on switch? the light all the way to the right, the light in middle is on without lights? also i noticed that top next to each front shock is a cartridge, maybe gas for the shoxs mine does not?

@beefcake3131 i agree with you on that, but we do not have any Offroad Trails. Whenever you go Offroad with your Quad, the Police is chasing you and you have to pay Dollar Dollar Dollar! :-( And the Police is EVERYWHERE!

@mrbrunse That sucks. Thats one good thing about the US. The country is so big and there are so many wooded areas that trails are not hard to find. I literally used to be able to ride in the woods directly behind my parents house growing up. It was awesome. I still want to come to Germany some day, it looks like an amazing country!

@Trappz132 Nope. never got that feeling before. It has very good stability. Im thinking about getting a new axle or a-arms that add like 2 inches of width.

the 450r has a big difference but sits lower and wider wich is not goog for trails and crossing creeks

@unknowsniper14 Yes it does. Its called the throttle. The more you press it the faster it goes. Glad i can help.

@unknowsniper14 Haha i was just messing around.. This does go and is great for the trails. Trust me you'll be happier with this than any other 400. 450's are but they cost more and also are not as good for trails. I would recommend a z400 anyday!
