  • This has always been one of his greatest songs the man is a god

  • Now some guys they just give up livin', and start dying little by little, piece by piece. Some guys come home from work and wash up, and go racin' in the streets.

    God bless you Bruce.

  • Roy Bittan - the most underrated piano player in rock and roll. But we all know he is the professor...

  • Has anyone else noticed that the outro instrumental part on this version is about 3 minutes longer than normal? Brilliant.

  • Out of our way mister you best keep.

  • Is there an intellectual in the house?

    Roy rules.

  • He always looked great with a guitar in his hand.

  • they all watch bruce so intensely....except steve...but he's the best friend

  • What a song/amazing/ I watch it all the time. You can feel the vibes/This song can only be compared to Jungleland in its beauty

  • If you think you can any better than this - then do it!

  • Stunning

  • I was at this concert pretty close to the stage and it was probably the greatest concert I've ever been to. I would even go far as to say it was epic. This song came relatively late in the set and was one of the best if not THE best moment in the entire concert. I'm glad somebody caught this on tape. Great memories.

  • you are so right. I was there as well, and have seen the boss 12 times. This was the very very best concert ever. Epic is the right word. Wow, and this song was played for Danny, the end of the tour, and everthing great about the e-streeters. I watch this all the time. Watch how long he plays at the end and how hard the band plays. Unreal

  • agreed. You can actually hear me singing in the background and clapping with my buddy. We're college kids but we blast Bruce when we go out for the night. This song and thunder road had me almost in tears. Hell, I was in tears.

  • you make excellent videos:)

  • Vintage Bruce see u apr 24 for starters

  • Wow! From 05:00 - 10:09 it goes from good to epic! One of the best versions I have ever heard! I like the person talking at 05:10 who speaks to his buddy something similar to: This part supposes to be good!

And yeah damn right you are! The final minutes made me paralyzed. I get shivers down my spine like I would be right there watching it live, but sadly I wasnt there. I envy everyone who got the chance to do so. Thankfully I saw him 4th of July in Gothenburg, Sweden. Thx for superb upload!

  • I was there.

standing almost exactly where this video is taken from.

I had chills for 10 minutes in the humidity of August milwaukee night and 80K + people. And i have chills everytime i watch this.

Thank you Bruce & E Street Family.

  • Absolutley so well said!! may never ever see a song played like this again... unreal. Chills, and the length of the song

    Thanks for recording dev dev.

Cant wait for Chicago and St. paul

  • Listen to Roy SHINE. Wow, what a talent!

  • What can you say? How absolutely brilliant and

    simply stunning!

  • PRAY FOR A D&D AND MAGIC TOUR DVD!

  • PRAY FOR A D&D AND MAGIC TOUR DVD!

  • Anyone else feel bereft now that it's all over? Spent my rainy summer checking out youtube for the latest concert footage. Managed to make 3 of the concerts including the last Dublin night. Thanks Bruce for being you and the band for supporting you

Oh and thanks DevDev for posting this beauty

  • yep, im feeling it to what we gonna do without the band on tour? good to see bruce is doing the superbowl gig. dvd soon please. RIP danny.

  • wow. i was at the last night of the dublin gigs and that version was special but this is just amazing. would have loved to have seen that last gig live.

  • A classic, only caught this live once (Ludwigshafen '03). I was gonna ask the same thing, how do you always manage to get so close? Thanks again, great stuff. Still love the For You and Backstreets from Richmond!

  • the jumbotron showed Roys handiwork and it was f'ing AMAZING. Just incredible. He just kept stepping up and up and up!!! Think it was for Danny.

  • yes this was one of the best racing in the streets i have heard. Roy really hit i was amazed

  • Dev Dev

You must have the greatest luck in the world to be so close at so many concerts.

I have THOROUGHLY enjoyed the clips from Richmond, as it was the greatest concert I have ever seen.

Thanks for posting these great clips from the last show in Milwalkay.

Great stuff, but when you think about it, EVERY song Bruce and the E Street Band perform is legendary.

Thanks. Thanks. Thanks. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your work.

  • Yeah I totally agree. Dev Dev you have made me and I'm sure many others happy by sharing clips from Bruce concerts. It is TRULY appreciated and we thank you for it. I mean, we might be on separate sides of the world, but I cannot express my gratification enough.

  • Wish i coulda been there.

  • All I can say is, that after hearing this, and seeing this clip, the E Street band is without a doubt the greatest rock and roll band of all time! Max and Roy are out of their minds on this version!

  • I was at this show- what a beautiful version! So nice to see it again. :0) The Professor rules!

  • wow ... that´s the ultimate killer version of racin!! Magic Roy!

  • I've always loved the "outro" on the live version of Racing but he's never done anything quite like this. Thanks for sharing.

  • this version raves and is pure frenzy. wow

  • Sad to see the tour end. Thanks Bruce. Saw ya in Seattle. Kent

  • Beautiful!! The shows this summer were amazing! I saw him here in Germany, in Duesseldorf!! He and the ESB were on fire!!

  • The greatest Racing ever.

  • It's definitely up there, the one from Passaic 78 is fantastic too.

  • Roy absolutely RIPS on this. WHOA! That's how you play a piano!

Props to the whole band on that one.

  • I was at this concert and right by you, cause I hear myself screaming. I am 20 years old and when this song came on... I was the loudest one in my area. One thing I was mad about was the amount of people with there arms crossed and not jumping around and enjoying themselves. It's a Springsteen concert and I'm going to get my moneys worth.. The whole concert was simply amazing.. I have to say it was one of the best moments of my young life.

  • amazing, thanks for this tour Bruce!

  • Please tell me Rosie!

  • You managed to get to another show I see! What songs did you manage to get this time?!

  • didn't get as many this time, but i DID get Rosie!! the only thing is it goes right into Bobby Jean so it's like 11 minutes long so i'm having some trouble uploading it...keep checking!!

  • Great! Thanks! I will!
