Only those who eagerly lap up Rozz's table scraps could have any appreciation for this song. Awake At the Wall, for instance, is amazing, but this product of the revitalized Christian Death of the 90s -- "Christian Death featuring Rozz Williams" (along with a few of his buddies who had no prior lineage to the legitimate Christian Death projects) -- this cover song is whiny crap, utilizing a squeak toy sound. "I aam tiiyaard, and I aaam weerey." That is crap.
Or the fact that I think it is a great cover of a song by a another band I also admire. Quit being the pretentious "I have been there from the beginning" and just allow the art to happen. If you don't enjoy it, sorry. I happen to like the song, both the original and this one.
