Its really simple. Universe =super blackhole, stars ,planets, plants and animals. God creates universe(hence creation) so God is not part of universe. God just needs to say "Be" and so the universe started with a big bang. Recent discoveries shows that the smallest particle of atoms is made of string of sounds . Think and ponder
@matkasim if you're thinking of string theory, its not made of "sounds" since sounds is movement of air. and its not "recent discoveries" because string theory is a THEORY and has yet to be proven
i'll be interested to see what happens if they leave the universe. i imagine there would be a shockwave at the perimeter... but then what? has our universe been consuming other universes as it grew? or is there nothing? or something completely outside the laws of physics? speculative sci fi is the most interesting.

What I meant was that Caine (the character who thinks a higher power did this) isn't necessarily a Christian. You don't have to believe in a religion to believe that there is a God. What I disliked about what you said was that you hate the show because one character thinks that God did it. I don't see what the problem is if somebody believes that, it's highly improbable, but it's not impossible that there is a higher power.

Also, the show is not religious at all, they were wanting to do a story like this in the earlier stargate shows but never got around to it. It did turn out that Caine was wrong. There are religious characters that come in to the show, ie, Scott and probably many if not all the military personnel which makes perfect sense in real life.
