Track sounds great, but I'd also have shifted the vocals around a bit as it does seem she's missing her cues on some sections. Maybe it's just a matter of personal preference, but it don't get any real emotion from her performance (whilst the musical elements are totally spot on).

How stupid can all these people cry for free tuts... All these producers give so much free info out. Sonic academy is great. I did learn much on their deep house tut, and best of all im very good with ableton live 8 only because of phil (Sonic Academy) and timothy allan (groove 3). Btw Phil is it me or is that vocal slightly out of sync?

Very nice tutorial great song !! but some effects on build up are so highly in amount that wash away all the sounds..ableton is a great tool use it wisely ;)

Considering buying this one as well! I bought the Tech Trance you guys and was amazed how complete it was but I did have some minor things that I thought were missing. I wouldve liked it to be a little more speedy, sometimes there were gaps of about 30 seconds of what to do or tweaking buttons without talking through it and explaining what happens. And there was absolutely nothing about effects on the master channel to improve sound quality of the render. Add those and these vids are platinum!

@SonicAcademy No it doesn't! It only shows you dragging and dropping a sample of someone else's bassline. Nothing on creating it.

Also, why did they put the tutorials in a window that doesn't let you skip or rewind without it having to load again. Your servers are on the opposite side of the world, so the connection speed is low making the tutorials i'm watching on your site stop every 10 seconds and I have to wait for it to load. Makes it impossible to watch!

@netgod2002 i was watching the free vids and had no problems - i can tell ya so far they are hosted on an amazon sever and they never would use server they are on a low speed :)

The quality of this track is far better to the past trance tutorials in my opinion, bassline is very Sean Tyas like.

Should of kept this project and worked on it a little longer would of been a decent hit ;)

What are people complaining about??? I subscribed for a year last year (run out now) but the wealth of knowledge and experience for people like me who have not had any college or uni in digital music production was worth every penny. There is only so much reading you can do and it took me a while to understand all the terminology and i buy the related magazines but to watch and have videos in the daw you use makes things easyer to learn and get a better understanding. Keep up the good work guys.

@TOMMEEH2 Seriously guys! I am two videos in. I am making myself treat it like school. Beginner videos first, then intermediate, then advanced. If you spend the money and you actually put in the time, it pays off after about 4 videos. @Sonic Academy, don't worry about the detractors, people always make a fuss about others making money on the Internet, but they won't hesitate to spend on petrol, jeans, TVs, Info products > Consumerism.
