haha on my crusades campign i'm the kingdom of Jersulem and me that the other faction got our heroes and their's died  crossing a river he drowned O.o

That is a part of the game.

Everytime you start new game he dies...

Kingdoms of Jerusalem gets Richard the Lionheart, the Hospitallers get ... of France and Barbarossa always drowns in the river, cause that's what happened in real life. It's a shame they didn't add the Teutons though, probably to small in those days

This would never have happened in real.

The last Norwegian viking-king died at the battle of sticklings. He holded off the english army for one hour.

norwegians were the invaders, the only reason they lost is because the leader underestimated the english army, who thought they would surrender, but they didn't, and the norwegian vikings lost because they didn't show up in battle armor

Actually, no sir. That was only the last time, that Norwegian tried to claim England.

Norwegians kept control of some of today´s UK teritorry as late as 15th century (when they finally sold the rest to king of Scotland).

I won against 1k+ milanese with 217 romans XD.

I think Scotland is the best faction though, love sending in tones of highlanders.

Nicely fought. Although I am currently playing as Scotland and have decimated Norway with 5 consecutive heroic victories! :P

But then it's all about using the terrain as you said... the computer just can't work out effective tactics; it always relies on pure numbers.

And I taught it that lesson... :)

BTW, doesn't anyone else think you should have the possibility for a "phyrric victory" if you win, but at great cost?

I agree with it, they should add it... it is just as you sad using the map and be there with your soldiers on the right place and time... If you are a great TW master, as you are I guess... you can easyily get victorys with a small army ;)

I think he may be talking about king Haakon IV Haakonson who was king of Norway from 1217 to his death in 1263. wich means he was the Norwegian king during the time period (at least the begining) of the Britannia campaign.

Norway in't realyy hard in battle (see my videos) but finaciel it's hard. But I play always on Very hard/very hard and it's playable ;)

I always have to auto resolve the battles cause the combat is choppy stop and go etc.

How did they route so easly, it is amazing what happend to the scotish, they run away for no reason. i gusse it is because of the quality troops u had.

Not real, you must use a good strategy: place your troops on a hill and youre army must figth on 1 place.

When they escape attack with cavalery.
