Thsi movie is truly inspiring. The scene of the singer in the elderly center is classic. It's short but I remember it soooo fucking well. Deep, funny...cool dialogue-perspectives and the clash of old china dn Chinese-american cultures.

stumbled on this movie on IFC a couple years back, i remember that it captured a real atmosphere of chinatown san francisco. especially being in black and white. made me feel nostalgic for some reason lol
