i saw this plane wreck with my own eyes it was scary

i didnt hear this and it might have been mentioned but the plane landed on the shortest runway with all of this the aircraft was doomed another thing that doesnt matter for passenger saftey is that the pilots chair was ripped from the floor with him still in it. mabye they should work on that

the first pilot was so panicked about the weather he forgot to turn the reversers on till 12 seconds after touchdown!

... I could move it underground due to fear of a hailstorm. it was worse than a thunderstorm. the low level wind was blowing so hard steel garbage bins were falling over. people had to fight to walk upwind. in these conditions, how could there NOT be any windshear?

Dr Curtis: your video says that it is clear that there was a thunderstorm in toronto. I would just like to point out that I was about half a mile from runway 24R in my office when the crash occured. about 15 minutes before the crash i was outside running to my car so...

WOW! this is just fantastic, amazing information and the report is great. Do you know if the pilots disconected the Autothrust? or did they just get the thrust levers out of Climb detent? It really makes me wonder if the crew was responsible for the increase in thrust. From the FMA i can tell the autothrust is off, but then again it also shows both flight directors on and yet they are not there . I'd love to know more about the flight crew actions. Thank you so much once again!
