During the winter season many white and negro ballplayers faced each other in Cuba, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. (Caribbean Winter Ball ) Each side knew how talented they were and deserving to play on the same fields in the Major Leagues. ( including the Latin players ) It was a shame, along with the era and prejudices of people. We can only honor and remember those who played the game long ago. ( Never let them be forgotten )
