there are always down sides to every good side with everything in life. People need to decide what's most important to them. The taste is just silly, raw milk changes taste depending on what the cow is fed, most milk on the shelf tastes the same because most cows on dairy farms are all fed the same thing.

I'm a Dairy Farmer and I drink raw milk all the time. All raw foods pose a risk. As long as people are responsible about the choices they make then I have no problem with it. People making unfounded health claims regarding raw milk and anti-pastuerization comments are really missing the boat. Pastuerization is designed to kill the bad bugs and increase shelf life. Pastuerization can affect the taste. I keep my raw milk in glass jars and consume it within 3 days.

I have been drinking raw milk for 1 month and will NEVER drink Pasteurized milk again. Pasteurized milk is garbage there are no vitamins in it, after raw milk is boiled the vitamins and CLA are terminated leaving just ligquid lactose.

anyway, I love RAW Milk.

Another thing... how can you even begin the FDA if they approve drugs with warnings (MAY CAUSE DEATH!) You have allergies, but they approve medicine which will cause you to have severe migraines and nose bleeds??? I'd rather have allergies! In fact... this is TRUE, not a fib, MY ALERGIES went away since I started drinking raw milk. I have ulcers from nerves I had a hard life... but now I have not been bothered by my alcers since I started drinking raw milk my skin is prettier and creamier, I Luv

I just found a raw milk farm in CT I am so excited because I was raised on raw milk, I missed it so much. I even bought raw milk soap. OMG my skin is so silky. The only reason you would get ecoli or any disease is if the cows are sick, that's why you do RESEARCH! You look around before you make your final decission. This AMERICA we have the right to choose! I don't need the government in my stomach or my kitchen!!!

Read the internet! Whenever illness or death results from Raw Milk consumption it is always from a private *unskilled* producer, usually a rank amateur, the type of dabbler who could make you sick from the sauerkraut they also produce...Small milk businesses like LANDMARK or ORGANIC PASTURES &c.&c. are certified and 100% safe...Oh, and so was George Washington's dairy source. As a Pasteurization Plant Operator at Dairy Farmers Australia, I think there is a BIG difference in drinking RAW milk from a SINGLE cow and having 30,000 Litres of milk mixed together in a tanker from 3000 different cows and sent out to the public for consuming. Out of those 3000 cows, there will be those who have more bacteria than others and WILL make people sick.

What I don't understand is why the government is so against raw milk being legal, yet they allow raw meat to be sold. People can pasteurize milk in their homes, just as they cook meat in their homes (although, I met someone once who eats raw chicken. Yuck!). I just don't get it. Sell all the raw meat you want, even all of the alcohol and cigarettes you want, but HOLY GOD, KEEP OUR CITIZENS SAFE FROM THE EVIL RAW MILK!

The FDA hired the same Monsanto employees and lawyers who developed rBGH to OK their own studies and write unprecedented legislation forbidding the label "rBGH free" unless one includes the statement that the FDA finds "no difference" between rBGH milk and regular milk. The tests were found to be falsified in Congress, but the same rBGH is still in the milk and the disclaimer still mandatory.

Raw milk opens up markets to small farmers, that's why it's banned.

when i lived in india the cow owner brought the cow around. they would milk the cow on your doorstep. you can't get much fresher than that. no one got sick.

the cats on the farms drink the milk straight from the teat when you spray it at them. they are fat and healthy.

milk of any kind is a bad idea if the person has an allergy.

if a person wants to drink raw milk let them assume the risk. you can't sue. you assumed the risk.
