There's historical reference to the Pentagon Papers, which evidently were much more important than these diplomatic cables being released through Wikileaks, but the whole video is based on this new Wikileaks release. I'd recommend this interview before the one with Noam Chomsky. That one is also fine, but less related to "Cablegate".

Saudis have been a major player in the Sunni-Shiite shism for decades, and the US army pays its gas bill to them. I did not say that the "family Saud" is benevolant, but you're evidently wrong. Not all Saudis "have been a major player in the Sunni-Shiite shism". The "royal" family has been, but they are not the only people in the govt of Saudi Arabia and many others who are haven't been for war on Iran, by Saudi Arabia, the US or Israel, at all.
