This heli sucks!I got one and after like 10 uses it won't steer left/right.Its got only bolts at the blades,and it lands by stopping the engine,and falling to the ground,without slowing down.It jsut stops in the air and falls.It truly sucks!

Please help!!! I got this and the first few hours it was great. But then, when I started to get it up in the air, (it was fully charged) the motor blades made a CRSHHHHHCRRRRRRRR!!!! soun and it tipped over and fell. Then, I started to lift it up slower, but it careened to the left and right, without me even touching the control, and it made the same CRSHHHHHHCRRRR! sound. What can I do? Please, please respond.

Hi, can anyone help me? I have a very similar helicopter like in this vid. At first my heli was flying really good, had a couple of crashes and still it was great, but one day i crashed into a chair and now my heli is very unstable, i mean, when i rise up i have no problems, but when i try to fly forward or turn it instantly gets out of control and crashes to the ground. Ive tried fixing it, still unstable, and i dont know what to do :/ i could film it fly if necessary. Thanks in advance :)

i just got mine yesterday! flies great! but you can't fly more than 1 or 2. it says it has 3 channels on the remote, but the switch on the remote only goes to 2 different channels...idk if it's just my controller or not. but it is still a great little chopper!

These are pretty cool but you can only get it in flight for about 5 minutes before you have to recharge it. Also they break pretty easily, my friends had one and it broke after 2 days. But overall it's a good buy for only 30$.

I bought one, nothing but disappointment. Right out of the box it wouldn't lift, then I realized the upper rotors weren't fixed to the shaft and had to be tightened, and the lower one wasn't fixed to the outer shaft. Finally got it to fly - twice - then today it wouldn't even lift off the floor, just spun and wobbled and I was done with it. It's now in the trash, a waste of $30. But yeah, I know, I'm the only one who ever had a problem, right?

@blindtoo Syma uses some kind of lubricant, sometimes it gets into the gears and grip sets causing problems. The main rotors coming off and the lower rotors slipping.Solution,with a metal file, roughen the inner shaft where the main rotor is attached to, and as to the lower rotors, do the same with a metal file, but this time you'll do it to the outer shaft by removing (its) "gear" and roughing about 3 milliliters,(make it rough,dont grind it down!) and then put the gear back in place. @luvsex70 Hi Luvsex70! First, turn everything off (remote control & heli). Do this with one heli first: with one of the remotes, switch it to A (you will see it above the on/off switch). Then turn on the remote for one of the helicopters. Wait for it to stabilize, give it about 40-60 seconds.

@luvsex70 Then do the same with the other heli but switch the freq to B or C (as long as it's different from the 1st heli). Let it stabilize and both helis should have different frequencies capable to fly at the same time. Hope that helped!! :D -cn

@luvsex70 Don't set it to c, the syma s107 model uses the default remote that all the other models use, so it has an option to put it on the "c" channel, but for some reason, only the A and B channels work on the s107 model; hope this helps =)

@THEBESTPINOYBOY ...sounds like the transmitter lost it's signal with the heli. The infared signal can be blocked easily. It's alot like the remote control for your TV!

@NikkoBellic100 ...it is infared like the signal coming from your tv remote. You'll have to fly away from other equipment. All electronic recievers of any type are set by the FCC to accept all outside interference.

@TheonlyKingHavok well, get a balance bar from ebay (they usually dont come with the metal tiny pin that goes through the balance bar and the main grip set) so that little tiny metal piece that keeps the bar balance in place it's something you can't lose. So detach the two hooks, then with a pointy screw driver PUSH the metal pin (it should come off easily) and then there you go, place the new one on top, attach it with the metal pin and connect the two hooks back again. It's very easy

@XaneCrazy Hey Xanecrazy! It is supposed to be loose and floppy, the inertia from the blades spinning during a crash is minimized by that feature. Just make sure the screws are snugged and you'll be ready to fly! -cn

@xhelicopter Thanks, at the moment it doesn't stay airborne or hardly get off the ground now, kind of spins on the ground (although I had it flying for a couple seconds each time.) I checked the parts on it, gears seem fine and all wires are connected. I'm willing to spend time to ensure I can fix it but i think i need more experienced person to get this thing working. (it fell on it side a couple times on the blades) i assume it might be the motor feeding it the juice but idk.

@XaneCrazy well, in case you are still having problems with it, make sure the battery is good u know... many people goes like, oh yeah the battery is completely charged because the light on the USB cable goes on. But just as a rule of thumb, if you fly the heli till the battery has no more power and you charge it, and the USB light goes on in a matter of 15 minutes, then the battery is DEADD, no good. so make sure that you are able to charge it for atleast 45 minutes before the light goes on

you can mod the controler so that the control that makes it go up and down will stay where u put it and not swing back..........................­.....first you have too flip over the controler and remove the 6 screws........second simpily locate the spring and unscrew it and remove it.........third simpily screw the back, back on and ur off......i did it to mine and i love it makes flying it so much easyer......enjoy

COMPLETE AND UTTER JUNK! I bought mine got it home and the remote was bad. When you hover it would shoot straight up then cut out and hit the ground. Well, it shot up hit the ceiling broke the balance bar and then hit the ground. Took it back to the hobby shop and had the guy fly his personal heli with my remote and did the same. Gave me a new one.12 hours later cut out again hit the ground balance bar hit the rotors and snapped AGAIN!!!! CHINA MADE JUNK!!!!!!!!!!

@Dillonfromforks damn. you really had some bad luck with the heli. I had two.. one of the is a year old which is fine, then the other one which was about 7 months old, it just wouldnt go straight, it would just turn to the right as if I was turning it myself, the trim didnt help. I tried a second remote that i use to fly the older syma, and it did the same, so i finally broke the shit out of it, and kept some parts, like the battery, the whole grip set, balance bar, and the blades. It happens.

You might want to check out the 9098. Same price and the gyro locks the heading perfectly. From the videos, the 9098 looks like the winner. I have two 9098s, but have not tried the S107, just judging from the videos. Both from XHeli.

I just got my S107 A week ago and now it seems the battery is not holding charge, after charging it for about 35 minutes it only flies for 2 minutes and thats it ! My S107, does not stay still.... When ever I am in the air it just tilts to onside and crashes. It cant even hover, All i do is move the thrust joystick and it is so unstable... all the other videos of the S017, show the helicopter so stable?? I tried adjusting the trim what do I do?

Need better qc on this. Lower rotor blade holder will crack and slip from the shaft even without crashes. Using clear plastic on the blades holder is dumb. Prepare for more cracks and damages. This is made to fail prematurely to sell spare parts. Buyer beware! Get your epoxies ready if you don't wanna pay for spare parts prematurely.

What is the best way to treat this battery? Can you put in a better battery maybe 400 mah? Or will that fry the motor due to longer flying time? Have you ever had a motor burning out on you? Will it hurt your battery if you completely drain it or should you only use 50 percent of power and then charge it again?

@boowonder888 The best solution is to charge it once the helicopter can no longer lift off, it is not recommended to drain it completely

@boowonder888 I tried putting a 240 mah battery in mine and It was so heavy that I had to remove a lot of weight to partially get the benefit of the extra 90 mah, and yet the quality of the battery wasnt that good, it didnt have enough punch as the original so it wasnt worth it. What really kills the battery in 24 hours is actually if you leave it uncharged during 24 hours, which is enough to ruin it.

@AwesomeArsalan make sure the shaft is not bent in any way. You can hold the helicopter in your hand and have it spin up to see if there are any irregularities. Also make sure the trim nob on the controller is set in the middle before turning on the helicopter

@Raingex The s107's are quite durable, The blades are flexible so they dont break after a single crash. The body is aluminum so overall rigidity is solid. For the price you really can't go wrong. Its also gyro stabilized so its Super Easy to control and flies anywhere you want, Obviously indoors

I am leaving mine without the weights since I always thought that the helicopter was a little too slow and too stiff in the air. :)

Did you know that by removing the weights from the balance bar, the helicopter becomes more nimble. However the heli tends to sway from side to side a little when it stops but it is not a lot, and probably if you saw a video with a helicopter with and without the weights, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the two, but it increases the speed "considerably" and it also reduces the weight of the helicopter.

am havin a problem with my S105. It won't charge. I used to charge it with both the RC and thru USB. Now somehow it won't charge. I think what happened was that i was flying it and it sort of lost connection / power and just fell. Since then I can't seem to get going again... Any idea what's wrong with it??

@haseebdada There might be some damage to the circuit board, make sure nothing is loose and see if the battery is still connected to the board. I suggest you call our tech support on this issue

good try, but that one it's overpriced. Not mentioning that they both look the same and for some weird reason I get the idea that they are buying symas107 and marketing them as products of their own by modifying small part such as the canopy and blades, what makes me think perhaps that's the reason for the higher cost compared to the syma s107.

I bought one recently, these heli's are horrible fliers. You only see it in forward flight for a split second and it has a reason. This heli very easily breaks out, the gyro stabilisation purely means the weighted flightbar keeping it from tilting or rolling, the tail has no stabilisation.

I forgot to mention these syma helis only fly barely 5 minutes a charge due to the heavy chassis.

I recommend the freebird from Oimei, its even smaller coaxial heli then this one and has full cyclic and tail control for under 30 dollars. Flies 10 minutes easily aswell.
