To the 2 of you who made this...did it bring you joy? If it did than you got the message of the entire play and film. Obviously, you've seen the whole show (whether stage or film). After you saw it the fact that it inspired you to make something, even if only for your own joy means you're smarter than anyone who wrote anything negative.

Jonathan (Larson) wrote this play exactly to inspire people. You were inspired by the spirit of the show to do something in life...that's all he ever wanted.

@livelovelaugh563 : I wouldn't say that it's horrible. I would say that it does not give the original actors in the movie much credit. The question that a viewer must ask is: "Was this for fun, or was it to stimulate an actual feeling?". Keep in mind that actors on Broadway, and in the movie RENT, have to be able to sing AND act. I recommend that the chick playing Rodger develops pitch control and the chick playing Mark should work on stage presence and expression in body movement. :)

You really shouldn't have the soundtrack playing in the background, it ruins the whole thing. Also, if you do have it in the back as 'help' then keep up and song with the same tempo/pitch/rhythm as the actual song so your audience wont notice.
