Because everyone doesn't believe in Jesus. It's like polytheists drawing their gods, or a devil worshiper theirs, or even a KKK member drawing the Grand Dragon.
hmm... if he drew blood and cut marks that would be a little mhm but the little boy didnt, this boy is innocent ! if the teacher was going to punish him in some way there is no reason of expelling him...bit too far kiking the boy out if i was the teacher id warning of something.. God bless guys !
Who ever was the first person who saw this picture and started the process of hating it was hit by it. God wanted that person to be hit by it. I believe God used that little servant of His to reach the hate inside the person who started the expelling process. So yes fight for that child but at the same time rejoice that Gods will is being done in our lives!
excuse me when i say this but they are plain on STUPID! Wat in the world !! WHO exACTLy was he hurtin by drawin a pic of jesus on the cross! was he disrespectin anyone? was anyone hurt by it? was it disruptive in any way? NOOO! The school should be ashamed of themselves for this foolery! SMHHH!
I don't really understand what they were getting upset about. Jesus didn't die on Christmas Day, he was crucified on Easter. It wasn't like that child meant anything by the picture though. He's eight years old, has a learning disability, and probably didn't understand.
Another thing I don't understand; if Jesus died in Easter, why do we celebrating it with chocolate?
well christmas is Jesus' birthday!= the schools fault. he has a LERANING DISABILITY!=schools fault he was just trying ok he was just saying i know what chirstmas' big picture is this is what i should draw im sure they will like it. then for an eight year old kid! i mean in all seriousness if you dont want them doing them this then dont ask them to do it! just ---- well now he gets a break from school.
i cant belive this is true but it is,but if our faith is not tested tdo we relly have faith if our bilifes are not challenged do we truly belive.i wish i would have been as strong in faith and my belifes when i was 8,thank you to who ever this 8 year and his dad, fight the good fight

Our public school system has become completely crazy. Being expelled is probably one of the best things that could happen to this kid. I hope these parents send their kid to a private school, or homeschool their kid...
They cant do that to an 8 yr old kid! they did that caus the hard core christains and many non christains think church and state are seperate which i think is un-american and isgoing against the constitution
If mii child got expelled for doing what this child did I would simply explain to mii child that they did nothing wrong & it would be a great introduction of what mii child is going to have to face as time progresses.
This is only an expulsion from school. I would want this to prepare mii child to stand up for Christ when someone is threatening to expel them from life if they don't deny Christ. We're going there....
I would reinforce to my son that he did nothing wrong while actively seeking other educational facilities. As Parent, I must fight for and protect my child, not a system largely influenced by disgruntled and twisted adults.
Pastor J. It's sad, but these are the times that we are living in. Me personally yes I would have sued the school. But I know that God doesn't want us to do that. The Lord Jesus Christ told us that we would face persecution. But I agree that this school went too far in making this kid undergo a pysch evaluation. This world is evil. I was at work and merely mentioned a gospel artist and got in trouble with one of my bosses. I ended up having to file a complaint against that job. I quit.
i don't think suing the school is the answer. maybe this is a chance to show Christ's grace? In the meanwhile preventing the kid go through something like this again. Peace
He was in the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him. He came to that which was His own, but His own did not receive Him.
strupz.. this is some high level of crap! how people going expel this child from school because he drew a picture of Jesus Christ! REALLY?!??! i agree with wiiboy555.. those parents should have sued the school!!!
From what i gather from where we came as people and how the system doesn't work for it's intentionally against anyone who stands apposed so i would withdraw my child and home school him, the message they teach children these days is misleading anyway. given the fact it was a sign of submission to go through a psych eval is ludicrous and shameful and i wouldn't have tolerated it.
As a parent in that situation i don't need their school, as a Christian i shouldn't have to be subject to their rules
U speak the truth here! I mean when an 8 year old see jesus for the savior he is....and most adults can't that even sends a bigger message. And for those adults who would punish him...if they claim to be christian...they need to take a look at their recent actions!
@goofygrl200 just don't live in Germany where they persecute the homeschooling parents. I agree with you though its ridiculous how overblown people can make things sometimes. its like a circuswhen they do this kind of thing.
I would b pissd!! but i would probably let mi kid decide if he wantD to go back to that school. i think he would to show ppl theres nutn wrong with him drawing a pic of Jesus on the cross!

Too many non-believer teachers, administrators, counselors, principles out there implementing their non beliefs and hatred towards God to children that are vulnerable.

Stop going too far. I'm not religous but it's obvious these people ae not children of the devil, but were idiots who don't want pictures of jesus in their school.
You hit the nail on the head when you said that they probably wouldn't have a problem with a drawing of baby jesus. The difference is this picture is of a graphic, violent, horrible act. If a kid started drawing people being hanged or killed in other ways they would rightfully make him seek mental help. We can't make exceptions for religion. Just like we should keep religious ceremonial daggers out of school, so should we with violent religious drawings. It's a depiction of torture!
just goes to show these atheists its not that they believe in God its just that they are ANTI-GOD Satan is working tooth and nail to drive people away from the truth he he is using governmental bullying tactics and the corrupt school system to get it done Christians keep your head up strong for these things must come to pass for our Lord Jesus is coming back soon to take His children home and away from this evil world REPENT NOW AND ACCEPT HIM AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR TODAY!
You must understand that atheists are not anti-God, because we don't believe in God. That would be like saying you were a Leprachaun hater. Doesn't make much sense. Some of us may be anti-religion, but that's something else.
In todays world you can't just say something is true. You must be able to prove it or provide a valid amount of evidence. Now, you are free to believe what you want as long as it doesn't hurt others. But please don't say atheists are evil, we aren't.
I'm an atheist and knows I'm not stupid or ignorant, but very knowledgeable.
This kid should have just deserved a conversation depending how bad his drawing really was...
I don't try to convert people into atheism. In my life, the very fact is people tried to convert me. I hated that personally, because it was my choice. I'm not going to convert others, that's personally selfish. It's their choice to make.
@LinkBulletBill: That's fine. However, you can't dispute the fact that there are very hostile and rude atheists out there who do not know the meaning of social etiquette. If someone does not believe fine, if someone believes fine. No one should be dismissed as stupid, idiotic, or irrational. As long as thought exists in every living human being, so will belief. It's not uncommon nor illogical. It's life.
So it's okay for children to get bullied, harassed, pick on, taunted, etc, etc, and the teachers wanan turn a blind eye, that's all cool, but when a child shows his love on God, it's a bad thing? No child, other any religion or lack or religion should deserve this kinda treatment.
In the immortal words of one of my favorite cartoon characters..*faceplam*
i wudda been proud of my kid for drawing that picture because like Pastor Justin said ppl often ignore the meaing of the cross or don't speak of what Jesus did on the cross altogether, smh
i'd transfer him to another school if he got expeled. and if i cant afford it i'll home school them. either way its better than letting him be treated like that boy. God bless him, may he recover well.
i honestly dont know what i would have done but this is just another sign of the things to come...in this country's stride for freedom & rights...Christians will lose their rights & consequently be persecuted.
This really makes me want to cry. People in this world don't like to hear about Jesus and the importance of the cross and they do what they can to avoid hearing about the TRUTH which is Jesus. We just have to pray for this young boy. There's no need to hate the administraters for what they did. They also need prayer too. That is why it is sooooo important to share our faith as christians because so many people in this world are lost.
My fellow believers, this is not an attack but more of an edification we must not say that we would "snap" or "loose it" we are to be humble, forgiving, modest, turn the other cheek Christians.I just spoke with my father yesterday and he has a problem with his brother, and he said hhow he would slap him ... I said what happend to the unconditional love? We are to live as our Lord Lived. And if we react in such a way then who truely is our lord 1John 3:7-8 Look it up God Bless you all!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would probably go balistic....The schools are beginning to forge that the parents control the school and they are also starting to think everysmall thing is bad
the first thing id do, would be to explain to my child that there is nothing wrong with drawing, writing, talking, or even thinking about the christ that saved us. as a matter of fact, im worried for the child because now the poor thing is going to associate Jesus with punishment and isolation. and folks, thats just not right. Then, id talk to the administrators and see what their view is for this and why they feel the real reason for christmas cannot be shared at christmas time, or any time.
Lord, if that happened to my child, I would not know what to do. I see why I don't have children right now because I probably would have lost it. I pray that God uses that young man for the up-building of His kingdom.
not even suspended...expelled. wow. Actually I should be more shocked but I'm not, the world sees Jesus as a threat..especially now that it's the end times.
But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
I hope this shocks the church out of cute religion in its own walls before the devil's babylonian structure invades the entire society's value system in addition to the world systems he already controls.
Church wake up and take your place. The gates of hell are prevailing meaning the current version of the church cannot be the model Jesus built (Matthew 16:18).
Wow if the world only knew what they were celebrating the death of Christ as well as the Birth of Christ on Christmas...There would be No Cross if there was no Birth...As Christians it is our duty to put Christ back in Christmas Jesus is the Reason for this SEASON
i can't believe this happened. I'm happy the boy is standing strong in his faith and has an understanding at such a young age...but to be Expelled for it??? Are you kidding me?? doesn't make sense to me...everybody knows there was nothing wrong with this kid...so sad...
What I want to know is where are the community leaders who would so bravely stand up for gay rights, or civil rights, but no Christian leaders are picketing the school district or demanding the principal resigns? Come on.........
This is just another example for me of the true meaning of the Sign of Jonah
If we do not repent as a nation, our nation will not be spared. I normally don't speak in these terms but lately I've come to realize that maybe I should be.
This will get worse before it gets better.
All the ground we've surrendered, all the things we've allowed have resulted in... exactly what you see.
As for your question, most options aren't there- like the ACLU would actually be any help here
Yeah, you tell me why an 8 yr old needs to be Psychologically Evaluated for drawing a Picture of Jesus on the Cross, But folks are looked at as being perfectly normal for killing an un-born child, portraying women as sexual objects, oppressing someone else due to ethnicity, celebrating someone who doesn't really exist (santa clause), or having sex with any body and every body they want.
I have found that the same folks calling for Tolerance are some of the MOST Intolerant People. SMH....
I Wonder what would of happened if this was a teenager in M.S. or H.S. I am a Counselor, so I know pictures can be used as Projective Psychological Tools to assess someone's State of Mind. However, I'm pretty sure the lil boy, as well as everyone else, new the lil boy was Drawing a Picture of Jesus.
I am not so much Heated over the Incident Per Say, But What The Incident Demonstrates Over All. It's a Heart Issue! Folks want the Love and Blessings of Jesus, But They Reject His Holiness, Righteousness, Judgment, and Absolute Truth! Sorry Folks, There is NO Such Thing As A Crossless Salvation.
Hold up... A 8 year old child... Who drew a picture of Jesus Christ dying on the cross for our sins which is the truth on the holiday of Christmas got expelled for this... Im telling you... People dont want to know the truth they want ot be fed what they want to hear and the truth they want to hide in a box or put it away because they want to be blinded they want to keep doing whta they want to do because they like it and dont want the good times to end. Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior
I think that was bullshit. It was senseless to get this kid expelled from school for something like that. I would've sued the school for that shit, str8 up
i remember in 2nd grade about 12 years ago one of my friends drew Jesus on the cross on her folder because she wanted to be reminded about him every time she got her homework out. now i lived in a small city in Arizona, and went to a public school and everyone there thought that was awesome.i still remember the teacher gave her an A on that "decorate your folder" assignment. no-one was offended and no-one got expelled.
I noticed the news report left out why the school did what they did. Hmmm. If this was my child I would go with him or her back to school the next day! Have the administration verbally explain to me their reasoning for the expulsion. The father in this story did get good exposure! You're helping too Pastor Justin!
I would have stood my ground, my Faith and wouln't have allowe them to test my child for what he beleived was true concerning The Cross and Jesus hanging there for our SINS, God Bless the child.
Christmass is a mass and a mass is an offering for the dead. this has nothing to do with The Lord Jesus because He is alive and not dead. Every kid is free to draw what he or she wanted, only if she or he draw monstersfrom hell, may be they need guidance in where they look at on TV or computer. If somebody draws the Lord Jesus on a cross, the person is pure and safe.
it's not even a christian holiday. the bible clearly states that god tells us not to cut down a tree and adorn it in our homes. it is a satanic pagan ritual.
it's sad what this world is coming to these days.. i think its beautiful that an 8 yr old child knows about Jesus. Maybe that's the one thing that sticks out in his mind about Jesus. That could traumatize him, having to be evaluated and all..My husband was Mormon and used to talk about God all the time & ppl would call the police & they'd put him in the psychiatric hospital because he was preaching! If my kids drew a pic like that I'd be proud.
I would fight for our rights but not in a way where we stoop to their level but with love and compassion, too many times Christians jus let things go. God tells us to go out n preach the gospel. God is raising up sons n daughters to show the love of Christ and bring repentance. If you just take ur child out of the school then thats not solving anything n allowing them to control freedom of speech - in the end we must do all we can to bring the Good News n not let anyone silence us only God :))
Truly, these days people get offended when jesus Christ is mentioned. Let me add one more thing, we are not fighting against human beings but against dark rulers, principalities of the spiritual realm, in other words Satan and his fellow fallen angels
Man that is crazy, the kid loves Jesus, more should. Jesus took our place, that is something that we could think about all day. The kid wanted to express his thoughts with a picture.
Even though I'm way too young to be a parent, I would be really mad. That was no reason to get suspended, let alone expelled.
while the 8 yr old did get punished for his beliefs he is living his testimony for more people to see. i think this is the kinda thing that reminds ppl the meaning of Christmas. Jesus knew he was going to die for us for the very beginning.
if it were my kid i'd prolly just pray with him and for him that he may stay strong in his faith
Yo im Proud Of the Little Boy and i hope his faith isnt shakin just made stronger
because the younger you get them stronger they'll be
now the school yeah they are dirty for doin that and very dirty for doing it to and 8 year old and most schools respect other relgions but when it comes to ours theres major conflict... is that because ours is right and they fear it?
Im mad he didn't just get suspended by expelled. && was told he needed a psychological evaluation. Nothing is wrong with his mind! He's got Christ on it! It would be nice to have some context as to why the school believed all that would be necessary, but the district && city needs to have a serious talk about religious expression. They need more than an apology. . .
Christ suffered and we suffer with Him. He's too worthy to keep quiet. I commend that little boy.
I honestly, truly DON'T GET IT. I don't see what the problem is. Christmas has simply become too commercialized. That's it. People don't know the meaning anymore.
Your right people dont know the meaning anymore because they NEVER DID!
Christmas is pagan to the core. It wasnt until 350, Pope Julius declared that Christs birth would be celebrated on Dec 25.
This was painless as possible for pagan Romans to convert to Christianity.
new religion went down a bit easier knowing that their feasts would not be taken away from them. Dec 25 is the feast of the Son of Isis (Goddess of Nature). Its time we took Christ OUT of christmas. Enough of this abomination.
this is ALL great; this kid was (pretty much) undergoing persecution for Jesus' sake, his reward will be great in heaven ...AND Pastor I think your uproaring is suitable and appropriate at the same time. It's beginnig yall, they're finally beginning to show their true colors here in Amerca, it's only going to get more aggressive as time progresses. We need to have our full armor on so that we're prepared to deal with the persecution when it's OUR turn.
I'm not Christian but this was WRONG! It is an expression of his right to FREEDOM OF RELIGION.

In todays world you can't just say something is true. You must be able to prove it or provide a valid amount of evidence. Now, you are free to believe what you want as long as it doesn't hurt others. But please don't say atheists are evil, we aren't.

Why blast atheism?
They're just ignorant and stupid...

@LinkBulletBill The Bible says not to draw God or they will die... i am sure he got expelled for religious reasons.
BlackPandaTKS 1 year ago

And if we react in such a way then who truely is our lord 1John 3:7-8 Look it up God Bless you all!!!!!!!!!!!!

the first thing id do, would be to explain to my child that there is nothing wrong with drawing, writing, talking, or even thinking about the christ that saved us. as a matter of fact, im worried for the child because now the poor thing is going to associate Jesus with punishment and isolation. and folks, thats just not right. Then, id talk to the administrators and see what their view is for this and why they feel the real reason for christmas cannot be shared at christmas time, or any time.
stazzylove456 2 years ago 3
Lord, if that happened to my child, I would not know what to do. I see why I don't have children right now because I probably would have lost it. I pray that God uses that young man for the up-building of His kingdom.

1 Corinthians 1:23
But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

As for your question, most options aren't there- like the ACLU would actually be any help here
I'd home school!

I noticed the news report left out why the school did what they did. Hmmm. If this was my child I would go with him or her back to school the next day! Have the administration verbally explain to me their reasoning for the expulsion. The father in this story did get good exposure! You're helping too Pastor Justin!

If my kids drew a pic like that I'd be proud.
lilhotmomma86 2 years ago
I would fight for our rights but not in a way where we stoop to their level but with love and compassion, too many times Christians jus let things go. God tells us to go out n preach the gospel. God is raising up sons n daughters to show the love of Christ and bring repentance. If you just take ur child out of the school then thats not solving anything n allowing them to control freedom of speech - in the end we must do all we can to bring the Good News n not let anyone silence us only God :))

Truly, these days people get offended when jesus Christ is mentioned. Let me add one more thing, we are not fighting against human beings but against dark rulers, principalities of the spiritual realm, in other words Satan and his fellow fallen angels
rangerblanc 2 years ago 3
Man that is crazy, the kid loves Jesus, more should. Jesus took our place, that is something that we could think about all day. The kid wanted to express his thoughts with a picture.
Even though I'm way too young to be a parent, I would be really mad. That was no reason to get suspended, let alone expelled.
jellyrcw11 2 years ago
while the 8 yr old did get punished for his beliefs he is living his testimony for more people to see. i think this is the kinda thing that reminds ppl the meaning of Christmas. Jesus knew he was going to die for us for the very beginning.
if it were my kid i'd prolly just pray with him and for him that he may stay strong in his faith
CleanCutComedy 2 years ago 3
Yo im Proud Of the Little Boy and i hope his faith isnt shakin just made stronger
because the younger you get them stronger they'll be
now the school yeah they are dirty for doin that and very dirty for doing it to and 8 year old and most schools respect other relgions but when it comes to ours theres major conflict... is that because ours is right and they fear it?
bboyabstrakt 2 years ago
Im mad he didn't just get suspended by expelled. && was told he needed a psychological evaluation. Nothing is wrong with his mind! He's got Christ on it! It would be nice to have some context as to why the school believed all that would be necessary, but the district && city needs to have a serious talk about religious expression. They need more than an apology. . .
Christ suffered and we suffer with Him. He's too worthy to keep quiet. I commend that little boy.
clasiqsoul 2 years ago
I honestly, truly DON'T GET IT. I don't see what the problem is. Christmas has simply become too commercialized. That's it. People don't know the meaning anymore.
QKalani 2 years ago
