For all the people who say "oh Eragon is too much like star wars", well, maybe you'd like to know that a lot of stories are similar to star wars. That's because star wars was meant to be a simple story! Ever hear of the book "A Hero With a Thousand Faces"? Star Wars is based off of the basic direction of a legend, just like Eragon! But what makes them great is the content, and I don't know about you, but too me Paolini did a pretty good job.
Name ONE other story that has the same EXACT point-by-point-by-point kind of similarities Eragon has with Star Wars. Dune? The Sword and the Stone? The Lord of the Rings? The Gilgamesh Epic? They arent all exactly the same because they aren't RIPOFFS like Eragon is.
That proves the book's originality. Not the Imperator's right hand or the imperator himself but the other last jedi...i meant dragon rider is Lu..Eragon's father. I havent read the new book yet but i'm sure the rebellion..or the elven armee will attack the empire. But there's no death star...

That proves the book's originality. Not the Imperator's right hand or the imperator himself but the other last jedi...i meant dragon rider is Lu..Eragon's father. I havent read the new book yet but i'm sure the rebellion..or the elven armee will attack the empire. But there's no death star...

@disk3001 They do? That would explain why I saw a lot of typos in the second book. I was trying to figure out if they did that on purpose. Don't they have to reread the story over before putting it out on the market?

Saw the author in an interview and he seemed really really REALLY impressed with himself and what he wrote so I pretty much skipped on this one but having seen this review... well... I feel even more justified in skipping this one. Thank you :)
