A friend of mine just let me borrow Live in Montreaux 2010 from Gary - had tears streaming down my face as I listened in my car!! The absolute BEST guitarist in the world!! F##kin' miss him. Gary wouldn't have the skills he has without Hendrix essentially creating them and bringing them too the forefront of peoples music. Put it this way, Hendrix may not have been the perfector, but he was the creator and that is why he's a legend.

They don't even come close to the creativity of Hendrix. Listen to what Hendrix does with a wah wah pedal & a Marshall stack without even playing a note. Then maybe you'll begin to comprehend what he accomplished..Eddie Kramer referred to Hendrix as pure genius in the studio. Now this was in the 60's!Get it??
