  • These videos were awesome! I have never seen ink grinding. It was really interesting and you are a great commentator!

  • @yanghaiyang after you grind your stone and finished, do you let the ink dry in the ink stone or do you clean it off?

  • @gotrice15278 Grinding ink is for using, so I use it up. If there is left over, I usually do not wash because: 1st, I am lazy; 2nd, it makes my sink black.

  • "I think this is the least important thing, but the most fun thing." I think the most fun things are the most important! :)

  • If you leave the ink stick on the ink slate, it might stick together due to the glue.

  • Thank you!

  • What's the website adress?

  • Oh okay. I've always wondered about that. But never knew. Also where can you purchase ink sticks?

  • @Dancer4ever000 I sell ink stick on my etsy shop.

  • @yanghaiying yanghaiying dot etsy dot com

  • @yanghaiying ink sticks*

  • @yanghaiying

what are ink sticks used for?

  • What does the ink do when the stick gets to the gold markings? Does it make the ink any different?

  • @Dancer4ever000 That tiny piece of gold colored marking is un-noticable. I have not yet seen any difference in ink.

  • :O ! i wonder what dat kind of rock is made of ?

  • @punkiliciousXghurl Kind of soft and smooth slab.

  • your videos are strangely addictive

  • @sabness69 LOL... yes, "strangely" addictive is a great way to put it!

  • This reminds me that I must soon buy an ink stone from you. Mine's only 1" wide and it's driving me nuts, lol.

  • I love the scraping sound that the ink sticks make on the ink stones. Something therapeutic about the sound. Thank you. :)

  • You have such a sweet personality. :) I love watching your videos.

  • such pretty ink sticks, it is a shame to grind them but a great honor and so much fun to do so i bet.

    wonderful video!

  • That was exactly what I thought at the beginner. Now, I start to think, if I do not use it, it's beauty will never have a chance to expressed. I decide to appreciate it by using it, put its life into real practice. Do you agree. Thank you for your kind thought. I appreciate.

  • maybe you can use a funnel and insert the long end in the water dropper's hole and that way it will be easy to get the water in the dropper faster..

  • But there is no funnel that has such a tiny ending.

  • put it into container full of water and it will fill by itself ;]

  • Right. I think that is the most scientific way to day it also.

  • ah! yes i guess you are right..i thought about that after i posted the comment..apologizes

  • That was what I thought at the beginning. I even thought about a seringe but I did not have any. lol

  • The process seems so neat! Do they ever wear down?
