@yanghaiyang after you grind your stone and finished, do you let the ink dry in the ink stone or do you clean it off?

@gotrice15278 Grinding ink is for using, so I use it up. If there is left over, I usually do not wash because: 1st, I am lazy; 2nd, it makes my sink black.

If you leave the ink stick on the ink slate, it might stick together due to the glue.

What does the ink do when the stick gets to the gold markings? Does it make the ink any different?

@Dancer4ever000 That tiny piece of gold colored marking is un-noticable. I have not yet seen any difference in ink.

That was exactly what I thought at the beginner. Now, I start to think, if I do not use it, it's beauty will never have a chance to expressed. I decide to appreciate it by using it, put its life into real practice. Do you agree. Thank you for your kind thought. I appreciate.

maybe you can use a funnel and insert the long end in the water dropper's hole and that way it will be easy to get the water in the dropper faster..
