Game music went from 8-bit simple jingles, to outstanding full orchestral pieces that rival even the biggest budget movies.

Even a video game can be a work of art, even if only in it's soundtrack.

@DarkSeraphim02 honestly in my opinion video games (sometimes) ARE a big piece of art to me. think about all the effort they put into video games. they assemble lots of the best people in their fields (artwork designer, composer, profesional writers for the story line ...) in order to create a game. its just awesome.

but maybe its just me, because i am an artist and i appreciate art in all its glorious facets ;D

@DarkSeraphim02 the best example is Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time or Twilight Princess. Beautiful music that just makes you want to play the game just because of the music
