First, I agree with whoever said Rose needs to STOP with the sentence finishing!

I like what Mary said about Lionsgate, and how they gave her creative freedom. Also, when Ellis realized that it was her film, which he had nothing to do with.

I wish Rose would've asked Ellis what HE DID NOT like about the movie. That seems like an obvious question.

As a follow-up, I'm not sure Rose read the book or saw the movie. If he had, he would have remembered Willem D. was a P.I., not a cop. Also, he didn't ask his usual style of in-depth questions concerning AP's ambiguous ending. He lets MH explain why she thought she made a mistake with the ending and then drops the subject without discussing Paul's apt. being clean, the mistaken identities, etc.

Why can't the professionals at Charlie Rose fix the sound/video problem???? I think Rose is a very strong moderator/interviewer but he definitely doesn't give Bale a fair shake here. He does much better in the Batman Begins interview with Bale/Nolan.

Agreed. And when he does finish sentences, he usually doesn't quite appease the speaker. He's not Buckley, and even William Buckley would not, probably ever, finishes someones sentence for them. Charlie is a nice guy generally, but he's a bit of a dimwit.
